38 Humanitarian organizations called on world leaders to act now to end the atrocities committed by “Israel” in the northern Gaza Strip as the siege of Jabalia camp continues for the 13th consecutive day, and the ground aggression on the north continues.
The organizations said in a joint statement that the intensity of the attack launched by the Israeli enemy forces on Gaza has escalated to a horrific level of atrocities, adding that “northern Gaza has been wiped off the map.”
The organizations considered what is happening there to be “forced displacement under gunfire.” “Since October 1, no food has been allowed into the area, and civilians are being starved and bombed in their homes and tents.”
The statement said that “the world cannot continue to stand idly by while the Zionist entity commits these atrocities. World leaders are legally and morally obligated to act now.
The International Court of Justice has ordered Israel to take all measures within its power to prevent the commission of all acts falling within the scope of Article II of the Genocide Convention, including “killing members of the group; causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; and imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group.” There is no evidence that Israel has complied with these orders, and the killing of Palestinians has increased.
