Yemeni Armed Forces Target Israeli-Linked Ship in Arabian Sea

In a bold move of defiance, the Yemeni Armed Forces have claimed responsibility for a drone attack on the ship “MEGALOPOLIS” in the Arabian Sea.

According to the spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, the operation, executed by the Yemeni military’s UAV force, reportedly achieved its objectives and was described as a response to the ship’s violation of a ban on accessing ports in occupied Palestine.

The strike, which marked a significant escalation in retaliation to the Israeli genocidal crimes in Gaza and Lebanon, was justified by the Yemeni Armed Forces on the grounds that the company owning the ship had breached the embargo. This operation is part of broader support for Palestinian and Lebanese resistance movements against Israeli actions in Gaza and Lebanon.

In a statement following the operation, the Yemeni Armed Forces saluted the Palestinian and Lebanese Mujahideen, emphasizing that the martyrdom of prominent resistance leader Yahya Sinwar would only strengthen their resolve. Sinwar, regarded as a key figure in the Palestinian resistance, has become a symbol of the fight against Israeli occupation.

The Yemeni Armed Forces reiterated their commitment to imposing a naval blockade on Israel, vowing to continue targeting all vessels linked to or associated with Israeli interests. They also promised to maintain missile and drone strikes against Israeli targets until the “aggression” ceases and the siege on Gaza is lifted.
