The Ministry of Public Works and Housing in Gaza revealed, today, Monday, the extent of the massive destruction that affected homes and infrastructure as a result of the Israeli aggression war on the Strip.

The Ministry of Public Works said: “More than a quarter of a million housing units were completely or partially destroyed and became uninhabitable.”

It added: “More than 80% of the roads were completely destroyed and need comprehensive rehabilitation.”

The ministry continued by saying: “Most of the ministry’s heavy machinery and equipment were targeted, which led to them being taken out of service and their drivers being targeted.”

It is worth noting that the Zionist enemy forces have continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, which resulted in the martyrdom of 42,603 citizens and the injury of 99,795 others, the majority of whom are children and women, in an incomplete toll, as thousands of missing persons are still under the rubble.

The enemy has also destroyed thousands of homes, residential facilities and towers, and very large areas of infrastructure in the Gaza Strip in an unprecedented war of extermination in modern times.
