Speech by Al-Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi (May Allah protect him) on the Latest Weekly Developments
Thursday, the 25th of Jumada Al Thani 1446 A.H. (the 26th of December 2024 A.D.)
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.
O Allah, confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad’s good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.
Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
In the late third month of the second year, for sixty-four weeks, the Israeli enemy continues its acts of genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, committing the most heinous and horrific crimes. These horrible, brutal atrocities are a stain on the global community, along with its organisations, institutions, and entities that claim responsibility for protecting human beings and human rights.
In its brutal, criminal, and barbaric aggression against the Gaza Strip, the Israeli enemy intensifies its acts of genocide specially in the northern Gaza Strip more than the rest of the Strip. It seeks to empty the northern area of all residents, so it escalates its crimes there through mass killings, indiscriminate targeting, demolishing buildings, destroying neighbourhoods, and annihilating all life essentials in the northern Gaza Strip.
The massacres committed by the enemy across all the Gaza Strip this week include more than twenty-five massacres, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of over 1,000 Palestinians, most of whom are children and women. These figures are the same every week, as they surpass 1,000 casualties in most weeks. This clearly demonstrates that what the Israeli enemy is perpetrating there is indeed genocide in every sense of the word. This designation has been increasingly issued by numerous international organisations and institutions, including even western institutions that we never expected to be fair or realistic, particularly regarding events that are against our Islamic Ummah. However, the sheer scale and horror of Zionist crimes have forced some to acknowledge the facts and events on the ground, despite ongoing attempts to downplay the numbers at all previous stages.
The rate of child killings in Gaza, the highest in the world, is a result of the Israeli enemy’s waging war and targeting the entire Palestinian population, with children at the forefront. According to estimates from some UN institutions, the rate of child killings in the crimes committed by the Israeli enemy in the Gaza Strip has reached a level where one Palestinian child is killed every hour. On some days, the number is much higher, but this is the general average. The Israeli enemy has reached this level of criminality. These are children, whose protection and rights are advocated for by institutions worldwide, especially in western countries. Where are these titles when it comes to Palestinian children, Palestinian women, humans in the Gaza Strip, and the Palestinian people?!
Furthermore, the enemy continues its starvation effort to a horrific level that brings shame to the Arabs, the Muslims, and the rest of human nations. How can they inactively watch what is happening? Starvation has reached a situation that according to details shared by some UN organisations regarding the number of trucks entering the Gaza Strip, particularly the northern region—indeed, the Israeli enemy has escalated its criminality in the northern Gaza Strip. During this period of the enemy’s intensified aggression, criminality, and genocide in the northern Gaza Strip (with the goal of completely displacing the residents), only twelve trucks have entered the northern Gaza Strip, with an average of one truck every six days. That is, during a course of seventy days, only twelve trucks have entered, at a rate of just one truck every six days. This indicates a severe policy of starvation. What can a single truck every six days (almost a week) do for tens of thousands of starving, suffering residents? Nonetheless, this meager and limited number [of the trucks] is often targeted by Israeli strikes, along with strikes on the residents when they gather to get food.
Additionally, the war on hospitals across all the Gaza Strip, including the northern region, continues. Major hospitals barely functioning due to the lack of essentials and resources (such as Kamal Adwan Hospital, the Indonesian Hospital, and Al-Awda Hospital) are under constant attack. These constant attacks include strikes, killings, raids, and explosions near Kamal Adwan Hospital, resulting in the injury of twenty medical staff members and patients. There are videos that reveal these painful tragedies.
This is how the Israeli enemy continues to employ all means of genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, with full audacity, brutality, and criminality, while being completely assured of American protection due to the American partnership with the Israeli enemy and the unconditional American support for it.
Regarding the West Bank, the Israeli enemy continues all of its aggressive assaults there. At the level of killings, the enemy persists in committing acts of murder there. This week alone, there have been around eight martyrs and more than thirty injured individuals. As for abductions, it has abducted dozens of Palestinians in the West Bank. In terms of destruction and levelling, homes are being destroyed, and lands, neighbourhoods, and streets are being levelled. Furthermore, it continues to set mosques on fire and demolish some of them.
Israeli incursions have targeted Al-Quds, Ramallah, Hebron, Bethlehem, Tulkarm, Nablus, and others across the West Bank. Additionally, Zionist usurpers seized agricultural lands belonging to Palestinian citizens in the southeastern region of Bethlehem, the West Bank. Over the past six months, the Israeli enemy has established seven settlement outposts, confiscating and taking control of vast areas of land in the West Bank during this period.
Despite all that the Israeli enemy is doing in the West Bank (incursions, assaults, killings, abductions, destruction, and land levelling), alongside the actions of the usurpers—not only the so-called Israeli military but also other gangs that are called settlers, who are usurpers, usually commit numerous crimes, such as burning Palestinian cars, various forms of attacks against the Palestinians, physical assaults, theft, looting, attacks on livestock, and other forms and types of assaults. Nonetheless, there is no notable role of the Palestinian Authority and its security apparatus to protect the Palestinian people, neither from the assaults made by the Israeli military, nor those committed by the so-called settlers. These so-called settlers go in groups for assaults and incursions, for setting cars on fire, and for attacking lands, farms, livestock, and residents. There is no significant role for the Palestinian Authority in protecting the Palestinian people in the West Bank.
In recent times, unfortunately, what deeply saddens the heart and exacerbates the tragedy in the reality of the Palestinian people is that the Palestinian Authority’s apparatuses, especially its security agencies, are collaborating with the Israeli enemy under the guise of security coordination. These repressive security apparatuses have not only provided the Israeli enemy with information against those among the Palestinian people who attempt to confront the attacks carried out by the Israeli enemy and the usurping herds (known as settlers), but they also consider resisting them a crime. That role of the Palestinian Authority has been confined to the targeting and repression of those among the Palestinian people who want to defend their land, themselves, and their people. Indeed, this is extremely disappointing!
Recently, the pace of assaults done by those repressive apparatuses, in collaboration and clear and blatant coordination with the Israeli enemy, has intensified. This includes acts of killing and the shedding of Palestinian blood. This is very saddening! These apparatuses will not be satisfied with what the Israeli enemy is doing (killing the Palestinian people); they will become complicit in committing such a horrific and monstrous crime against the Palestinian people (killing the Palestinian people and conducting acts of arrests). They have arrested dozens of those who have done nothing wrong; their only offense and problem with the Palestinian Authority is that they resist the Israeli enemy, whether against the gangs referred to as the ‘Israeli army’ or against the usurping herds known as settlers.
And thus, clashes, assaults, and raids have continued against the mujahidin, primarily in Jenin and in other areas. This is extremely unfortunate and saddening!
Appeals have been issued by various Palestinian formations and factions that are pained by what is happening and are saddened and distressed by the internal problems and conflicts among the Palestinian people and the issues with the security apparatuses, which are considered to be Palestinian. There have been many appeals and calls from Palestinian factions and personalities. However, the Arab and Islamic role is also absent, although it should be present strongly and effectively to pressure the Palestinian Authority to cease its aggression against its own people (especially the free among them) and stop its cooperation with the Israeli enemy against them. Indeed, there must be a clear and strong role. Why is such a role absent from Arab and Islamic regimes, while some of them have strong ties with the Palestinian Authority and can play an influential role, even to some extent? This is very saddening.
The great suffering endured by the mujahidin in Palestine, as well as by the Palestinian people, has manifested in various forms, including the recruitment of some Palestinians by the Israeli enemy to work in intelligence operations. Thousands have been recruited for this disgraceful, shameful, and harmful role in order to be spies for the Israeli enemy. Over the past decades, a large number of them (thousands) have been found to be playing a terrible role. Their actions constitute betrayal and a crime, which is deeply unfortunate. In other words, their role is disruptive, impactful, and painful within the Palestinian arena.
Moreover, there is another kind of suffering that the mujahidin in Palestine and the Palestinian people endure, which is the role that the Palestinian Authority and its repressive apparatus have played in such cases, where they carry out assaults, arrests, and killings. They do that in order to assist the Israeli enemy against those within the Palestinian people who stand up to its aggression, occupation, and crimes. This is a deeply saddening situation!
There are also distorting media campaigns targeting those mujahidin and the Palestinian factions that confront the Israeli enemy, resist its crimes, oppose its occupation, and strive to liberate and save the Palestinian people, as well as to free Palestine. How can these factions be subject to distorting media campaigns? How can they be blamed for what the Israeli enemy does, although—as I mentioned in previous speeches—it was the one that initiated aggression against the Palestinian people by occupying their land? The Palestinian people had never committed any act against the Jews before the arrival of the Zionist usurpers in Palestine, so it cannot be claimed that what is happening is merely an Israeli reaction. Since the very beginning, the Israeli enemy has been the occupier, the usurper, the killer, and the criminal who commits all sorts of crimes, violates honour, and does everything.
Unfortunately, this is the goal that the Americans and Israelis want to achieve in our entire region: They want every authority in any Arab country to play a role similar to that of the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank as a primary and actual role. In other words, they do not want any Arab authority to protect or defend its people but to have a role that is limited to serving the enemy and confronting those who resist its aggression and crimes so that the arena remains submissive and compliant to the enemy, allowing it to occupy, kill, and commit crimes in all forms and types without taking any action. The enemy seeks to achieve these objectives, which I repeat in every speech.
Indeed, the Americans and Israelis seek to establish the equation of violating our Ummah, making it violated in all its countries without any reaction so that if there is a reaction from anyone, he will be accused, attacked, assaulted, and faced with opposition from everyone: Media campaigns, intense blame, and propaganda will be launched against him; he will be met with aggressive actions and military and security targeting; and his actions are criminalised. This is very unfortunate. It is intended for the regimes in the Arab and Islamic world, after being fragmented and divided, to become mere nominal regimes, but their active role will be in implementing the American and Israeli agenda.
Regarding Lebanon, the Israeli enemy continues its breaches. The outcome of the breaches over the past month, according to some statistics, includes more than thirty-two martyrs and over thirty-eight injured individuals, with breaches exceeding eight hundred and twenty during just one month! Among these breaches, there are ongoing destruction of villages and towns, demolition of residential neighbourhoods, devastation of agricultural lands, acts of killing, and abductions of some residents during their normal movement, even in olive groves. In fact, the Israeli enemy is practising all kinds of aggression.
Through this level of criminality and the sheer volume of these breaches, the Israeli enemy attempts to create a picture of victory for itself, following its failure to achieve the major objective it announced for its aggression against Lebanon, particularly in eliminating Hezbollah. It does so because it has failed in that regard. Indeed, it is trying to carry out these actions in the border areas with Palestine while simultaneously benefiting from the extent of American complicity in its actions. This all indicates the utmost importance of the resistance’s presence and reveals the Israeli enemy’s aggression. Regarding the actions that the Israeli enemy is doing, it is doing them in areas where there is currently no confrontation, in regions that are now under the control of the Lebanese army according to the agreement. The assaults it commits in all their forms and types demonstrate its hostility and that it targets everyone. This is because what it is doing there targets the people: targeting them in their homes, their houses, and their farms. It prevents some from returning to their villages and aims to carry out the largest possible destruction and demolition of these villages. This also shows that it is an enemy to all and targets everyone, and the events and Israeli practices prove this truth.
As for the Israeli aggression against Syria, Israel continues its occupation, the expansion of its control, and encroachment into Syrian territory. Its control over the Quneitra Governorate has become significant. That is, according to some information and reports, Israel has seized approximately 95% of the Quneitra Governorate. In other words, most of the governorate is now under its control, with only a very small portion, about 5%, remaining unoccupied. This is assuming that it has not already completed the takeover of that remaining 5%. Additionally, it is expanding towards the countryside of Daraa and other areas in southern Syria, as well as along the southern countryside of Damascus.
Among the practices it engages in within the areas it has occupied and controlled is the invasion of homes in villages, towns, and cities under the pretext of searching for weapons. Its goal is to disarm the Syrian people completely, turning them into an unarmed people. In fact, this is how the Israelis and Americans want you to be (unarmed) so that they can do whatever they want to you without any concern. During these home incursions and searches, they often resort to physical violence against the residents. This is how they want our Ummah to be: a people without any defence, strength, or means of protecting itself. The Americans and Israelis want to come into your home so as to beat you and assault your wife, daughters, and sons without you being able to react or protect yourself and your family. This is the condition they want to create regarding reshaping the Middle East: It takes this form. These are the changes they claim they are implementing; they take this form and present a real image that reflects their intentions.
They also restrict the movement of residents and their ability to move from one place to another, controlling the times they can enter and exit their homes. This includes regulations at the village level as well, where they impose similar restrictions.
In acts of violence and home incursions, they strip some residents of their clothes. Imagine the extent of Israeli tyranny and criminality, the humiliation of people, and the degradation of dignity! Indeed, Israel is a malevolent and arrogant enemy. At the same time, it holds our Arab and Muslim peoples in real contempt. One of its greatest pastimes against our peoples is to practice humiliation in all its forms—through killing, insults, various assaults, crimes of rape, and every form of degradation. This includes this method of dealing with people: stripping people of their clothes. There are scenes in Palestine illustrating this aggressive and criminal Israeli behaviour, aimed at humiliation and degradation. These scenes show large numbers of people being stripped of their clothes, displayed in great numbers without clothing. This is the condition Israel wants to impose on our peoples.
It also attacks protesters. In some areas where residents have taken to the streets to demonstrate and protest, the Israelis responded by firing directly at them.
The Israelis are bulldozing agricultural lands. This is happening in various areas of the Quneitra countryside, where they are bulldozing agricultural lands and uprooting olive trees. They have also levelled the agricultural terraces extending from the Quneitra countryside towards the occupied Syrian Mount Sheikh, attempting to create routes from the Quneitra countryside to the mountain. Additionally, they have destroyed the residents’ fields.
This is the reality of the Israeli enemy: It poses a danger to people in every aspect. It seeks to leave people with neither religion nor worldly matters and to take away their dignity and honour. It aims to deprive people of everything and to take away their land, dignity, freedom, religion, and worldly life, leaving them with nothing.
After all this, Arabs in all our countries should consider it an enemy. It is expected that all Syrians view it as an enemy because it truly is one. With such a level of malevolence, enmity, and also criminality, it is an enemy that possesses no values, morals, or anything of the sort.
What the Israeli enemy is doing in the areas it is controlling is focusing on water bodies, dams, and water springs. This issue has been a focus of the Israeli enemy since the 1950s during its aggression against Arab areas and countries: Palestine, Jordan, and Syria. The Israeli enemy concentrates on controlling water springs, dams, rivers, water basins, and areas where water is available. After that, it seeks to control water because it understands that water is indeed a vital resource, as well as an essential foundation for life and a critical element for the survival of people. Therefore, it controls and manages it, using it as a means for blackmail, exploitation, and deprivation.
Hence, in its expansion, occupation, and control in southern Syria, it focuses on all areas there that have water wealth, including springs and rivers. Even Mount Sheikh is one of the areas that hold significant importance as it is an important water source, because of both its springs and the snow that melts after winter, feeding those springs.
In its pursuit to control water bodies and dams in Quneitra, Israel has taken control of six dams with a total water storage capacity of over eighty million cubic metres. At the same time, it is expanding its influence in the Yarmouk River and its basin, which extends from Syria to Jordan, with its basin being one of its significant tributaries. This river is rich in water, benefiting both Syria and Jordan. The Israeli enemy now controls most of it, including its main tributaries, which include mountains and areas with springs, snow, and water outlets that flow into the river. Israel places significant emphasis on this issue.
The Israeli enemy once controlled the Sea of Galilee and was interested in and keen on this water control for the purpose of the water control and management it practices now. In the past, it also took control of the Jordan River, which belongs to Jordan, and even by its name, as it is commonly known; even the Israelis refer to it as the Jordan River. After taking control of the Jordan River until now, the Israelis have been controlling what they provide from this river to the Jordanian people in terms of water, charging a significant amount of money and engaging in major extortion. That is, the Jordanian government contracts with them for large sums of money to obtain a small amount of water from a river that rightfully belongs to the Jordanian people. Indeed, the Jordanian people can only access water from their own river by paying money to the Israelis!
What more do the Arabs want than this level of control, domination, greed, occupation, plunder, and confiscation?! Israel is an enemy that does everything to them, humiliates them in every way, and robs them of everything. It also kills them, steals all their resources (even water), and controls them even in a sip of water. This is what it does, indeed.
The current situation in Syria is that the Americans have recently brought in additional military reinforcements to further expand and extend their presence in northern Syria, where the oil wealth is located. Meanwhile, the Israeli enemy is expanding in southern Syria, where the water and agricultural wealth, fertile lands, and strategic areas (including the Syrian Mount Sheikh) are situated. Mount Sheikh is a very large mountain with an expansive range. Its strategic importance is widely recognised, offering significant military advantages and vantage points overlooking many regions. It is now considered the most crucial position seized by the Israeli enemy in the Levant. The Israeli enemy utilises its elevation for intelligence gathering, reconnaissance, air defence operations, and more. From this mountain, the Israeli enemy is also capable of striking deep into Damascus using artillery! It holds this strategic importance and these advantages. Indeed, this is the current reality in Syria.
Therefore, all of this proves that Syria is indeed suffering an American-Israeli occupation and that the Syrian people will eventually be forced—no matter how much some people there ignore these facts—to confront the Israelis and Americans directly. But what are the enemies’ plans there? These plans aim to prepare the ground for the occupation to persist and expand further. By the time the Syrian people awaken, it will be too late, and they will find themselves in an extremely difficult and weakened position, after being scattered, fragmented, and divided, in a state of extreme vulnerability. Or they may accept this situation without objection, no matter how far it goes.
In the face of this Israeli aggression and arrogance (which are consistently supported by American partnership and cooperation) and in the face of widespread passivity in the Arab world and in most of the Islamic world, Palestinian steadfastness stands out, and so do the heroic, powerful, self-sacrificial jihadist operations carried out by our mujahidin brothers in Palestine. These are very great operations.
The Al-Qassam Brigades carried out nearly twenty-nine operations in the Gaza Strip this week. These were important and varied operations that inflicted significant harm on the enemy. Furthermore, they include powerful ones:
An operation was carried out by some of the mujahidin, who stabbed and killed a number of Zionist soldiers on a mission to protect other Zionist soldiers in a building. These mujahidin then stormed the building, killed the Zionist soldiers inside, seized weapons, and freed several abducted Palestinian civilians. This is a distinctive operation, which took place in the northern Gaza Strip, showing the level of bravery, valour, and dedication of the fellow mujahidin there, along with their remarkable boldness.
This also includes a martyrdom operation carried out by one of the a mujahid who sacrificed himself. In this operation, he managed to kill two Zionist soldiers. He then disguised himself in one of their uniforms, infiltrated a Zionist force, and detonated himself with an explosive belt among the Zionist soldiers, causing deaths and injuries among them.
The Al-Quds Brigades conducted twenty operations, including missile strike operations.
Additionally, other jihadist factions in the Gaza Strip also carried out operations.
Regarding the support operations from Yemen (Yemen of faith, wisdom, and jihad), in the Battle of the Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad, the operations this week stood out for their momentum and their significant impact on the Israeli enemy. This is because these operations involved the use of hypersonic missiles targeting occupied Jaffa, referred to by the enemy as Tel Aviv. Additionally, there were operations targeting occupied Jaffa and Ashkelon using drones, as well as operations involving hypersonic missiles that successfully penetrate the Israeli enemy’s air defence and protection system.
When we reflect on the level of this achievement, we find it to be a very significant and important accomplishment. The Israeli enemy recognises this truth, as does the American enemy. The impact of these operations, especially at this specific time when the Israeli enemy was boasting that the overall situation was turning in its favour, believing it could isolate the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, feeling reassured about the support fronts due to the changes in Syria and after what happened in Lebanon, and so on in the rest of the fronts—in fact, it was astounded by this continued support from the support front of Yemen (Yemen of faith), with its momentum, power, determination, resolve, perseverance, and steadfastness, along with the effectiveness that has significantly impacted the Israeli enemy. Hence, they speak in their media outlets about the state of frustration among the criminal Israeli leaders in their military and security apparatuses, reporting that they are deeply disappointed. This means that, despite all they have done—the crimes they have committed in partnership with the Americans and all the achievements they have gained due to the passivity of the Arab countries and most of the Islamic world—and at a time when they imagined that they would only discuss their achievements and promote certain accomplishments for themselves, they are now astounded by this level and momentum of ongoing operations that demonstrate such effectiveness and impact, as their defensive measures, unmatched by anyone else in the region, have not saved them at all and have failed to protect them.
The missiles have put them into a state of great terror in occupied Jaffa, which they refer to as Tel Aviv. They speak in their media outlet about a sleepless week. This level of intense disturbance, profound frustration, and deep fear is due to the hypersonic missiles being launched at them at night, often after midnight or late at night. As a result, since nightfall, they remain awake, worried and anxious, wondering when a missile will strike. They keep anticipating it. Then when the sirens sound, they flee from the palaces and homes they have seized and occupied, rushing out in millions from many of those cities and towns to seek refuge in shelters. They rise from their beds to escape while they are terrified, frightened, and pushing against one another, with some of them perishing in that state of stampede as they are rushing to the shelters.
As for some, when the sirens blare, they suffer—what they themselves describe—a heart attack due to extreme fear and the sheer shock they endure. This is aside from the direct damages caused by the missile strikes, including destruction, killing, and injury in a direct manner. Many succumb to heart attacks out of terror and panic, while others are killed during stampedes as they flee in millions, rushing from their beds to shelters. To them, this situation is very provoking and painful, disrupting the peace and comfort they had hoped for.
The Israeli enemy aimed only to boast of great victories and achievements. However, these distinguished operations (with all their implications and significance) disturb, unsettle, confuse, and frighten it. Indeed, they affect its reality and exert significant pressure on it. At the same time, they provide crucial support to the Palestinian people, who find that there are some who stand with them sincerely, earnestly, and devotedly, doing everything within their capacity and resources.
These operations (which are directed to the depth of occupied Palestine to target the Israeli enemy into the usurped cities and towns, its camps, and its facilities) carry highly significant implications. Foremost among these implications is the undermining of the Israeli occupation entity’s defensive superiority.
The Israeli enemy possesses, as I have previously mentioned, unparalleled defensive capabilities in the region, including advanced air defence systems, protection mechanisms, and multiple systems: the Iron Dome, David’s Sling, the Arrow, and various layers of protection. However, all these defence systems have failed. This failure has caused significant anxiety among the Israeli enemy, as it is stated within a limited area, which it has completely covered with these defence systems. Nonetheless, everyone who watches the recorded video scenes can see the missile going down, overtaking the interception missiles the Israeli enemy launch. The [Yemeni] missile passes close to the interception missiles and, with the guidance of Allah (the Almighty), it evades them and continues going down. This scene is deeply unsettling for the Israeli enemy, a clear display of their defeat, failure, and frustration in every sense of the word. This is a significant matter.
There have been comments from Israeli enemy leaders, including officers, officials, as well as from media outlets, and research centres. Among these was a statement by the former commander of the air defence system in the Israeli Air Forces, who spoke about the missile launched at dawn on Saturday. He said that the interception attempt had failed decisively. Indeed, the Israelis attempt to justify the breach that happened to their defence system. That is because despite its advanced technology and their heavy reliance on it, it failed. Thus, they tried to provide other false narratives and justifications. However, the former commander of the air defence system, an expert in the field, said that the interception attempt had failed decisively.
Additionally, they say in their media outlets that they should learn lessons from their enemy. This reasoning is an echo for what the Americans said before them: They search for how to benefit and learn lessons from the Yemenis. In other words, with Allah’s grace and assistance, the remarkable performance of the missile forces, the impressive performance of the mujahidin in the drone unit, and the distinguished military performance regarding production, tactics, and the operations themselves, Yemenis have become a model that has astonished the enemies, despite all their resources, means, studies, and scientific advancements. Despite all of that, they are talking about learning lessons from the Yemeni side and its performance. They say that they should learn lessons from their enemy—when they say the enemy, they mean Yemen. They add that Yemen is learning and drawing lessons and that there are minds thinking and trying to outsmart their system. That is, they realise what is happening with us: Our mujahidin (in the army and armed forces, in the missile forces, in the drone section, in naval operations, and in research and study centres) study the existing obstacles, the means the enemy possesses, and the way to overcome them through techniques and truly innovative work, by Allah’s grace.
They mention that it is clear that the Yemenis used a type of advanced missiles and that they tried to produce a missile that is almost supersonic. It seems they find it difficult to say ‘supersonic’, so they referred to it as ‘almost supersonic’.
The second implication is the failure of deterrence. The Israeli enemy has carried out several aggressive operations targeting our country and the civilian facilities in it: In Al-Hudaydah, it focused on striking several ports, and in recent operations, it targeted two power stations in Sana’a. The purpose of these operations is to achieve deterrence in order for us to stop. These operations coincide with a media propaganda campaign conducted through its mouthpieces, aiming to achieve the same objective as the Israeli enemy, which is to pressure us into halting our operations.
In fact, when we understand that the main goal of the aggressive operations carried out by the Israeli enemy against our country is to deter us and prevent us from continuing our operations as a Yemeni people, as a Yemeni army, and as official and unofficial entities, we must ask what others who support the Israeli enemy (ally with it and work alongside it in the media as its mouthpieces) are doing. They are doing the same work aimed at the same goal, which is to pressure us into stopping those operations.
However, the Israelis realise they have failed in their deterrent efforts. That is why they say that ‘the Houthis’ aim to create instability and ongoing conflict in Israel and that they are undoubtedly achieving this goal. The Israelis understand that our work continues and is effective and impactful and that we have not stopped.
They also state that the direct strikes from ballistic missiles launched from Yemen, which the air defence systems failed to intercept, have caused significant frustration among political and security officials in Israel and Washington, as well.
They say that the offensive operation will not deter ‘the Houthis’, nor will it harm their capabilities. They recognise this truth: The operation does not deter us from continuing to support the Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin. That is because our support for them is a religious, principled, humanitarian, and moral position that we will never waver from, no matter the pressures or temptations. Indeed, they understand this truth and state that it will not deter ‘the Houthis’ or affect their capabilities and intentions to continue launching missiles and drones towards Israel.
Note what is worse according to them! They assert that what is worse is that ‘the Houthis’ will also continue to harm global commercial and military shipping in the Red Sea, along with the enormous economic damages caused to energy transport that ‘the Houthis’ have been responsible for over a year. In other words, the maritime operations that have a major impact on the Israelis’ economic situation are causing them significant distress.
They further assert that they have to realise the reality and say clearly that Israel is unable to deal with the challenge posed by ‘the Houthis’ from Yemen. This is true; they are incapable of confronting this challenge or overcoming it. That is because it is a challenge based on faith, awareness, insight, taking the elements of strength, relying on Allah, and trusting Him. They express this in their newspapers and media outlets, acknowledging what their proxies deny: that they have to realise reality and say explicitly that Israel is incapable of dealing with the challenge posed by ‘the Houthis’ from Yemen. They also admit that Israel has failed to confront ‘the Houthis’ from Yemen and that it has procrastinated significantly in facing the threat coming from the east, so it is dragging its feet weakly in responding to that threat.
In addition, they state that after fourteen months of direct confrontation between ‘the Houthis’ and Israel, it must be acknowledged that Israel has failed to force ‘the Houthis’ to cease fire. These are admissions from the Israeli enemy, reflected in its newspapers, in its media outlets, and among its officials and experts in studies and research. Indeed, they acknowledge their failure.
Due to the fact that the Port of Eilat has become completely disabled and deserted and that the Israelis no longer benefit from it—they have laid off its workers and transferred them to the ports of Haifa and Ashdod—they argue that the continued abandonment of the Port of Eilat and the ongoing bombardment from Yemen using drones and missiles aimed at Israel (including the Gush Dan area—what they refer to as Tel Aviv—not just Eilat) serves as evidence of their failure. This is a significant result achieved by the grace of Allah (the Almighty), with His support, with the victory He grants, and through His might and power.
Despite the bravado of the criminal Netanyahu, along with some of those so-called ministers, the picture is clear for the others. It is evident to them, but they deny it. However, it is also evident to others, and they acknowledge it; They admit the failure in every sense of the word.
Moreover, they are frustrated by the intelligence challenges of Yemen, indicating a lack of information and failure to obtain necessary intelligence. This means there is failure in security and informational penetration. The Israeli enemy speaks of their inability to gather intelligence in Yemen, and as a result, they announced a call for those who are proficient in the Yemeni language, meaning the Yemeni dialect, and who understand the popular culture in Yemen to join the Israeli intelligence.
The impact of operations on Zionist society itself is also evident. I talked about the proofs for that. Among that is their saying that with every Yemeni operation that sets off sirens, millions of Zionist settlers enter shelters. They add that reports arise of anxiety and shock cases, alongside injuries from stampedes.
Along with all this Israeli failure, there is clear confusion in the Israeli enemy’s reality. They [the Israelis] issue threats and may prepare for certain operations. They also try to display bravado in their statements, but this is at the level of the criminal Netanyahu and some of the criminals around him. However, the confusion is very apparent in how they are handling the situation. That is why they have resorted to appealing to the Security Council, which is unusual! They are calling on the Security Council to convene, condemn these operations, and seek to pressure for their cessation. This reflects their state of confusion.
They are asking European countries and others to offer political support to them by designating us as terrorists, and the so-called Israeli foreign minister announced this, stating that he would request other countries to designate us (in Yemen) as terrorists.
What is funnier, more absurd, and more foolish is that some of the Zionists are placing their hopes on mercenaries: Some suggested that they should connect with those in Aden—referring to the mercenaries they call the government there—and ask them to fight and motivate them to engage in battle. This is a very strange case! The mercenaries look at the Israelis with admiration, show great respect for them, spread rumours and fear for their sake, magnify the situation for their sake, and even seek to adopt some form of arrogance due to their actions. However, the Israeli enemy is placing its hopes on the mercenaries to relieve the problems that it faces and stand to protect it. The situation of the Israelis, the mercenaries, and the Americans as well—this will be discussed regarding the situation from the American side—is as the proverb says, ‘The soaked seeks rescue from the drowned.’ However, the mercenaries are placing their hope on the Israeli enemy, speaking with admiration and glorification of what it is doing in Syria and Lebanon and of what it has done in Palestine. They are trying to present that outdated image, which is ‘the unconquerable enemy’, yet it itself is placing its hope on them to take the role on its behalf of protecting it from the threats that it cannot defend itself against. However, all of them are failures. This is in regard to the military level.
Regarding the economic situation, there is significant damage and a substantial impact due to the Yemeni operations on the Israeli enemy. Consequently, even in terms of missile operations, the Israeli stock market indices dropped this week, and the value of the Israeli currency fell last Thursday after the Yemeni missile attacks on occupied Jaffa.
The mayor of Ramat Gan mentioned that the damages caused by the missile strike [from Yemen] in the area was estimated at around eleven million dollars. This reflects the impact of just one missile strike on Israel. Additionally, they incur significant costs related to interceptor missiles. Therefore, in a report on the Yemeni operations against the enemy entity, an American website stated that the cost of intercepting ballistic missiles and drones is estimated to be millions of dollars for each interceptor round, which has a significant impact on them.
Similarly, as for Umm al-Rashrash Port, which they call ‘Eilat’, workers were transferred from there. The Israelis despaired of finding a solution to the problem of being blocked from navigation in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and Bab al-Mandab. They completely lost hope; therefore, they dismissed their workers. This month (after waiting for a year and two months during which they have been trying to solve the issue in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab, and the Arabian Sea, but failed) they reached a state of despair. Transferring their workers from the port of Eilat to other ports in Haifa and Ashdod reflects their despair and inability, and at the same time testifies to the victory that Allah has granted our people and mujahidin and honoured them with. This is a tremendous blessing and demonstrates a high level of effectiveness in this situation. There are clear and tangible results, evidenced by facts and events, due to the complete cessation of activity at the port.
Regarding the impact of maritime operations, which are of great significance against others (the partners of Israel, such as America and Britain), it has become clear that what is happening is a prohibition against them specifically, not others. There is a statement from the Director of Intelligence and Risk at a British maritime security company [Ambrey], who said that ‘the Houthis’—as he described them—were very clear that they targeted ships operated by or affiliated with the United States, the United Kingdom, and Israel. He added that anyone outside this scope was allowed passage through the Red Sea with an authorisation from ‘the Houthis’. This is a clear acknowledgment. In fact, those who talk about expressions such as ‘global maritime navigation’ and ‘harm to all countries’ to justify their support for the Israelis and Americans are bearing false witness. Otherwise, the situation is clear as this British person admitted by himself. This is about the Israeli enemy.
Regarding the Americans, there has been a significant and crucial operation this week involving engagement with the American aircraft carrier Truman and its accompanying naval vessels. This took place at a time when the Americans were attempting to carry out a major aggressive operation against our country. The Americans had prepared for an assault targeting several Yemeni governorates and various targets in the country, organising military formations to execute this plan, including reconnaissance aircraft and refuelling planes. The aircraft carrier was positioned over six hundred kilometres away from our country, yet close enough to implement in their operation. However, our country was able to respond immediately, which is a tactical achievement attained by the grace of Allah. It was similar to how we had confronted the Israeli assault, launching missile attacks and targeting the enemy during their assault. So the case was the same with the Americans: A large-scale operation was successfully carried out to counter their assault using many missiles and drones aimed at the aircraft carrier and the nearby naval vessels. As a result, the Americans failed utterly in their planned aggression. While there were some airstrikes that led to the loss of some martyrs, the overall American operation was a complete failure in every sense of the word.
The operation itself, targeting American aircraft carriers for the fourth time, is significant, bold, and powerful. Since World War II, no one else in the world—whether from any country, organisation, or group—has dared to carry out such a bold operation against American aircraft carriers.
This operation resulted in the fall of an American F/A-18 jet, one of the most important and expensive planes, which can cost up to eighty million dollars according to some reports. This indicates how expensive and very advanced it is.
The Americans claim that they shot it down by mistake due to suspicion. There is no need to say that this reflects their significant failure, weakness, and confusion. At the same time, many have mocked them for this. Some American media outlets asked what they were suspicious of, questioning whether Yemen had F/A-18s like theirs that would make them wonder whether it was American or Yemeni. The Chinese also ridiculed them by stating that if ‘the Houthis’ had been the ones who shot down their plane, it would show their weakness, but if they shot down their own plane, it would reveal even greater weakness—this would be considered even worse! So this situation represents a loss for them in every sense.
American and global analyses and reports stated that this confrontation is not only the most prolonged and first of its kind in this battle—since it lasted throughout the night, with the clashes with the aircraft carrier continuing from around nine o’clock until near dawn, during which American naval vessels were targeted with high intensity—but has also changed the concepts and tactics of naval warfare forever. Aircraft carriers no longer represent deterrence. They have now fled to a distant location over 1,500 kilometres away from Yemeni ports. They no longer represent deterrence and have proven ineffective in establishing deterrence. Instead, they have become a burden when facing ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones. No aircraft carrier has ever faced such a direct attack, yet Yemenis have made this happen four times: They targeted the USS Eisenhower twice, the USS Lincoln once, and the USS Truman once.
This significant achievement and important success have resonated strongly in the statements of the Americans themselves. While there are many statements, I will briefly shed light on some of them, leaving it to our media outlets to cover the extensive texts and acknowledgements from Americans and global experts about the impact, strength, effectiveness, seriousness, and nature of these operations.
They say that they find themselves facing tremendous underestimation of the threat posed by ‘Houthi’ missiles, adding that it is simply unbelievable that the U.S. Navy has shot down its own aircraft, even with the lack of competence on the part of the Biden administration’s military. The Americans also say—which is something the mouthpieces of Zionism need to hear—that they have truly reached a very low level as a supposed superpower when the best and closest narrative they can come up with to cover up the reality that ‘the Houthis’ might have shot down one of their planes is that it crashed due to ‘friendly fire’. In other words, they even see this excuse as a shameful justification and certainly not an acceptable one.
In addition, the Americans are also in a state of significant confusion, seeking help from others. Their main goal is to drag others into the aggression against our country. They have tried and keep trying to involve the Europeans and Arab regimes in this effort. Therefore, whoever places his hopes in the Americans is delusional. The mercenaries who view the Americans as gods in this world, glorifying them to the utmost and trying to raise their voices while leaning and relying on them, should understand that the Americans are in a state of confusion; they are truly in a predicament. They are attempting to make others get involved and to persuade them to do so, and they are also trying to drag the mercenaries and Arab regimes into this situation. The situation is best described by the proverb I have mentioned: ‘The soaked seeks rescue from the drowned.’ Indeed, this is the state of the mercenaries who have been defeated and could not manage through more than half a million airstrikes to return to the camps and palaces they fled from. In their current state, they are desperately trying to cling to the Americans and Israelis, seeking help from one or the other. Yet, everyone is failing: the mercenaries, along with the Americans and the Israelis. All of them, without exception, have ample experience with our country.
Therefore, as they today try through some media outlets to use what happened in Syria to spread fear, we find that has no impact on our country—it is irrelevant. From the very beginning, we are a people who rely on Allah (Glory be to Him), and we act from a position of faith and jihad. Throughout all these stages, we have been engaged in a conflict and confrontation and kept enhancing our capabilities, training and preparing ourselves. More than a million individuals have undergone combat training, with over seven hundred thousand of whom in the mobilisation forces, while hundreds of thousands in the regular forces, including those who have received training over the past years. Therefore, we are already in a battle, confronting and standing up to the Americans and Israelis, with our faith in Allah, our reliance on Him, and our confidence in Him. We keep practically pursuing all means of victory and power, and we thank Allah for that.
Regarding the weekly activities, they were as follows:
There was a scholarly meeting in Al-Hudaydah, where our esteemed scholars delivered remarkable speeches and issued a beneficial and important statement.
This week saw a commemoration of the birth anniversary of Fatimah Al-Zahra, the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH&F), as well as the International Day of Muslim Women. This event enjoyed significant participation from our believing sisters and included many valuable cultural activities that presented the Quranic Islamic perspective on women in Islam.
An announcement was made about a new and important achievement in the field of security. I do not have enough time to delve into the significance of this achievement now, but I emphasise that such achievements are critically important because they leave our enemies blind and thwart many of their conspiracies.
As for the massive, widespread public demonstrations, which carry great significance, millions of our people took out to the streets to express their stand against the Israeli enemy last week following the Israeli aggression against our country. Our people do challenge the Israeli enemy through words and actions, so millions participated in 716 marches and demonstrations against the Israeli enemy last week.
Training activities are ongoing, with 712,379 individuals having received training as part of the mobilisation effort. Additionally, over 300,000 individuals have received prior training in the regular forces in recent years. This means that there are more than a million trained Yemenis.
Thanks to Allah (the Lord of the worlds) and by His grace, we find ourselves in a great situation—one where our people feel a strong sense of responsibility, carry awareness, rely on Allah, trust Him, pursue all elements of power, and act to fulfil their responsibility. These efforts bring great hope for victory from Allah, as our people have responded to His call to support the truth, uphold His religion, and take the kind of position that pleases Him: Allah is the One Who has said, {‘If you support Allah, He will grant you victory and strengthen your foothold’}[Muhammad 47:7], and He is the One Who has said, {‘For it is Our duty to grant victory to the believers’}[Ar-Rum 30:47]. Therefore, considering their drive of faith and jihad, their practical response, their liberation, their dignity, their pride, their honour, and their awareness, as well as their practical effort, our dear people are heading towards major victories. They keep achieving victory after victory. What I said about the confrontation between our people and the Israeli enemy, as well as between our country and the Americans, bears witness to these significant victories. We are approaching one year since the Americans declared their aggression against our country, during which they have achieved nothing but frustration and failure.
I call upon our dear people to take out to the streets in the millions tomorrow for a massive and widespread demonstration, by the will of Allah and with His assistance, in the capital, Sana’a, as well as in the other governorates and districts. I call upon them to participate in the demonstrations in response to Allah’s call, driven by their trust in Him and by their sense of responsibility and loyalty to the Palestinian people in their unmatched plight. Today, our people have astonished the world and surprised our enemies with their remarkable resilience and steadfastness, as well as their active, continuous, and powerful efforts, thanks to their faith-based motivation.
I hope that tomorrow’s participation will be large, widespread, and massive, reflecting this steadfastness, courage, loyalty, and faith-based motivation and demonstrating a sincere and conscious response to Allah, the Almighty.
We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us all success in seeking what pleases Him, have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, set free our captives, and grant us victory. He is the All-Hearer of prayer. We also ask Him to hasten victory and relief for the oppressed Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin.
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
