Zionist reserve brigadier general Giora Eiland said that “the war is over and will not resume,” stressing that “this war is an Israeli failure in Gaza that resonates.”

In an interview with the Zionist Channel 12, Eiland added: “This war is a failure for a very simple reason, which is that Hamas not only succeeded in preventing Israel from achieving its goals, but also achieved its goals, which are to remain in power.”

Eiland believed that “the agreement does not prevent Hamas from strengthening its capabilities, as it can maximize its capabilities. If it does so and “Israel” moves against it, then “Tel Aviv” will have violated the agreements,” and he continued, “When we ask ourselves why this happened, then we see three unforgivable mistakes that “Israel” committed 15 months ago.”

It is noteworthy that Major General Eiland is one of the participants in the “Generals’ Plan,” which proposed several months ago a detailed plan to continue the fighting in Gaza, which included a plan to weaken Hamas by depriving the organization of access to humanitarian aid, and turning the residents of Gaza against it, according to the “Israeli” belief.
