The Israeli aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp in the northern West Bank enters its first month today, Wednesday, leaving 27 martyrs, dozens of injuries and detainees, and unprecedented destruction.
Yesterday, the enemy army brought in large water tanks, in addition to small rooms for enemy soldiers, while enemy bulldozers continue to destroy streets in several neighborhoods of Jenin camp, amidst low-altitude drones flying in the skies of Jenin city and its camp.
Jenin Mayor Muhammad Jarar confirmed in a statement yesterday that the enemy adopted a pattern of random destruction in Jenin camp and its surroundings, and did not leave any foundations of the infrastructure, and burned and demolished homes in order to make the camp uninhabitable.
In turn, the media committee in Jenin camp reported that the enemy left nearly 3,000 families in Jenin camp without shelter, after destroying their homes and property, in addition to the enemy soldiers burning a number of homes.
The committee explained in a statement that the Israeli aggression on Jenin and its camp left 27 martyrs, one of them shot by the security forces of the Authority, and dozens of injuries, and widespread destruction of infrastructure and property.
The enemy army continues to close the entrances to Jenin camp with earth mounds, while its soldiers stationed at the entrance to the camp fire live bullets at citizens.
On January 21, the enemy army began its aggression on Jenin and its camp, calling it “iron walls” to thwart what it called “terrorism in the northern West Bank.”
