The founder of “Nashala” settlement movement, Daniela Weiss, called for “settlement in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria,” noting that “a broad plan has been presented for this.”
In an interview with the Israeli “Channel 14,” Weiss said that “this should be the title of the next stage,” adding that “there is nothing in Zionism other than settlement, but rather its foundation is settlement, in the Galilee, Judea and Samaria and the Golan.”
The founder of “Nashala” movement continued, “We must fight, occupy and settle.” In mid-February, the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth revealed that at least 20 Breslov Hasidim crossed the border into Lebanon during the ceasefire and then returned to Israel.
According to Yedioth Ahronoth, they infiltrated a place in Lebanese territory near the border, which they claim contains the grave of an Israeli rabbi, where 8 of them were arrested for investigation.
The Nachala movement, which was founded in 2005, believes that “settlement is the only thing that will achieve regional stability and security for Israel, along with a stable economy, steadfastness and deterrence,” stressing that “the land of Israel belongs to our ancestors and must not be left to foreigners,” according to its claim.
It is noteworthy that Daniela Weiss attached to her posts on Facebook a biblical map titled: “The Borders of Abraham,” which includes the entire territory of Lebanon, in addition to most of Syria and Iraq. Earlier, Weiss herself visited the Gaza Strip, accompanied by a military escort, to scout out potential sites for building settlements.
