Two Palestinians Martyred, Three Children Injured in Fresh Zionist Attacks on Gaza

Two Palestinians were martyred on Monday by Zionist enemy forces in Rafah, southern Gaza, while three children were injured in a Zionist airstrike on Al-Mawasi in Khan Younis. These incidents mark a continuation of the enemy’s violations of the ceasefire agreement.

Palestinian sources reported that Musa Qashta and Khaled Al-Shaer were killed by enemy gunfire in central Rafah. In a separate attack, three children were injured when a Zionist helicopter fired two missiles at Al-Mawasi, northwest of Khan Younis. The helicopter also opened heavy fire towards the sea off Khan Younis.

Additionally, Zionist warplanes targeted the shores of Khan Younis, while enemy vehicles fired shots in the Al-Sunati area east of Abasan Al-Kabira and east of Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City. Zionist helicopters were also seen flying over the western skies of Rafah.

On Sunday, four Palestinians, including two children and a woman, were martyred, and six others were injured in Beit Hanoun, Khan Younis, and Rafah. This escalation followed the Zionist authorities’ decision to close crossings into Gaza and block the entry of aid and goods, further weaponising starvation as part of their genocidal war against the Palestinian people.

The latest Israeli escalation comes after the end of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement, which was supposed to lead to negotiations for the second phase starting on 16 February.

However, Netanyahu has obstructed progress, seeking to extend the first phase to secure the release of more Zionist prisoners without fulfilling his obligations under the agreement. Hamas has rejected this and called for immediate negotiations on the second phase, which includes a full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza and a complete end to the war.

Since the ceasefire began on 19 January, the enemy has committed dozens of violations, resulting in over 118 martyrs and hundreds of injuries, alongside a failure to adhere to the humanitarian protocol.

With American involvement, the Zionist entity has waged a genocidal war on Gaza since 7 October 2023, leading to the martyrdom of 48,388 Palestinians, mostly children and women, and injuring 111,803 others. These figures are not final, as many victims remain under rubble, inaccessible to rescue and civil defense teams.
