The death toll by the Israeli aggression on Gaza rises to 48,458 martyrs

The Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed, today, Sunday, that the death toll by the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 48,458 martyrs.
This came in the daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and wounded as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry of Health said in a statement: “5 new martyrs and 37 injuries arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals during the past 24 hours.”
It added: “A number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.”
The Ministry of Health continued: “The death toll by the Israeli aggression has risen to 48,458 martyrs and 111,897 injuries since October 7, 2023.”
The enemy continues to violate the agreement by continuously firing at citizens and bombing gatherings, which led to the martyrdom of three Palestinians today in the city of Rafah, while aid is still prevented from entering the Strip for the seventh consecutive day, causing a food crisis and a severe shortage of basic necessities.
With American support, “Israel” launched a genocidal war in Gaza between October 7, 2023 and January 19, 2025, which left more than 160,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 14,000 missing.
On January 19, a ceasefire agreement between “Israel” and Hamas came into effect, which includes three stages, each lasting 42 days, with the condition of negotiating the next stage before completing the first stage, with the mediation of Egypt and Qatar and the support of the United States.
