Hamas called on the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court to engage seriously and follow up on the contents of the report of the Independent International Commission of Inquiry, which documented the Israeli enemy forces’ commission of genocide.
Hamas said in a statement issued on Thursday that the report issued by the UN committee, which documents the enemy’s commission of acts amounting to genocide and violations throughout the Palestinian territories and in detention centers, where torture and sexual harassment were witnessed, “confirms the horrific crimes that the fascist enemy continues to commit.”
Hamas emphasized that the Israeli enemy has committed unprecedented violations of international law and humanitarian norms against defenseless civilians, especially in the Gaza Strip.
It stated, “The report confirmed that the government of the terrorist Netanyahu, wanted by the International Criminal Court, deliberately and systematically destroyed health facilities and hospitals, imposed a complete blockade, and prevented food, medicine, and essential supplies from entering the Gaza Strip. These are blatant war crimes and full-fledged acts of genocide.”
Hamas added that the report’s reference to the international community’s disregard and denial of the crimes and violations committed against the Palestinians “requires a serious stance from all countries of the world, and from the United Nations and its institutions, to break out of silence and inaction, and to take effective measures to deter this fascist Zionist gang, halt its crimes, and compel it to implement the terms of the signed ceasefire agreement.”
Hamas called on the International Court of Justice, the International Criminal Court, and all international and national judicial institutions around the world to engage with and seriously follow up on the contents of this report, along with previous UN reports documenting the crimes and violations committed by the Israeli enemy.
They called on the international community to hold the occupation’s leaders accountable, considering them war criminals, and to ensure that they do not escape punishment.
