Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani announced the killing of Takfiri Abdullah Maki Muslih al-Rifai (nicknamed Abu Khadija), the so-called Deputy Caliph and Governor of Iraq and Syria, the head of the Delegated Committee, and the head of the Foreign Operations Office.

In a post on his X account on Friday, al-Sudani confirmed that Abdullah Maki Muslih al-Rifai is considered one of the most dangerous “terrorists” in Iraq and the world.

He emphasized that this Takfiri was killed by the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, with support and coordination from the Joint Operations Command and the International Coalition Forces, noting that Iraqis continue their victories over darkness and terrorism.

A few days ago, the Iraqi General Directorate of Intelligence and Security announced the removal of the official responsible for financing and supporting ISIS elements in Salah al-Din Governorate.

The directorate confirmed in a statement that its Special Intelligence Missions Cell was able to carry out the operation through precise intelligence efforts, noting that the takfiri was a “finance and logistical support official.”

It also explained that he was an “ISIS intelligence operative” and that an arrest warrant had previously been issued for him under the Anti-Terrorism Law.
