The International Community Abandons Its Principles Amid Genocide in Palestine
The Zionist enemy’s crimes in Gaza have intensified dramatically, resembling an accelerated effort to eliminate what remains of the living and uninjured among Palestinians. According to the enemy’s daily record, nearly all residents of Gaza are now either martyrs, wounded, imprisoned, or displaced.
No one is safe from the bombing, and no place in Gaza offers even a few moments of safety free from the terror and horror of the terrorist entity. The more Trump escalates his demonic influence on the world, the more Netanyahu intensifies his boldness and brutality against the Palestinian people, while the Arab regimes remain drowned in disgrace and inaction.
The leader of the revolution Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi stated: “It is absolutely unacceptable for what the Palestinian people are enduring to become a routine that people merely observe and respond to with statements. The silence and indifference of the Arab peoples toward what is happening in Palestine is a complete betrayal of all principles, values, morals, laws, and religious doctrines.”
The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor stated that the brutality of “Israel” in Gaza exceeds in scale, organization, and horror even the atrocities committed by armed groups such as ISIS. Despite this, the Zionist entity pays no heed to any labels and deliberately continues committing genocide. The so-called “Foreign Minister” of the Zionist entity, Gideon Sa’ar, reiterated that ending the genocide committed by his regime against Palestinians could be achieved only through the return of Zionist captives and the removal of Hamas from Gaza.
The Enemy Hunts the Displaced Wherever They Go
After destroying everything in Gaza, the enemy has explicitly shifted to targeting refugee camps with the intent to annihilate the largest number of Palestinians possible. It has bombed even tents, schools, and displaced persons’ gathering points, wiping out entire families. The Government Media Office in Gaza announced on Thursday that since the beginning of the genocide against Gaza, the Zionist enemy has targeted 229 displacement and shelter centers, including the horrific massacre at Dar Al-Arqam School, which was housing displaced persons and was bombed in a blatant violation of all international conventions.
Have you heard the story of the horrific massacre in the al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City? The enemy bombed the area knowing well it was sheltering displaced civilians—most of them women, children, and the elderly. This massacre is another in the long chain of genocidal atrocities committed by the Zionist enemy in Gaza. The Dar Al-Arqam School massacre alone claimed dozens of lives. The number could have risen further if not for the courage of the civil defense crews, who refused to evacuate the school even after the enemy announced its intent to bomb it again.
Resistance Holds the U.S. Fully Responsible
Palestinian resistance factions have held the United States fully accountable for this and all Zionist crimes. The Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” stated: “The horrific massacre committed by the Israeli army in bombing Dar Al-Arqam School in Gaza City is a new brutal crime committed by Tel Aviv with the partnership and cover of the United States.”
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine commented: “The school, where children sought safety, has been turned into a mass grave, with body parts scattered beneath the rubble. This reflects the continuing brutality and criminality of the occupation against civilians.”
Faint Foreign Voices, Arab Silence
Astonishingly, the blood, bodies, and devastation documented by global media seem to leave no impact on Netanyahu, who feels immune from any legal accountability under the protection of the United States—an enabler of terrorism. The U.S. shields “Israel” from any international prosecution or even condemnation. Only a handful of free voices attempt to break this protective barrier, though they remain faint and in need of stronger support—support that should have come from the Arab world, still gripped by fear and subjugation.
Starvation Policy and Toothless UN Rhetoric
Accompanying the Zionist military brutality is an unprecedented siege aimed at depriving the people of Gaza of even the most basic necessities of life. The policy of starvation is being enforced in its ugliest form, along with efforts to deny access to clean drinking water. The Gaza Municipality has announced it can no longer provide potable water due to the Zionist bombing of civilian infrastructure, amidst the ongoing aggression on the Strip.
All this is happening because a people, whose land is occupied, dared to seek the return of their stolen homeland from a blood-soaked Zionist entity operating with the complicity of the international community.
UN Human Rights Office spokesperson Jeremy Laurence said: “There is an urgent need to immediately lift the ongoing blockade on Gaza without restrictions or conditions. ‘Israel’ must respect international law and stop targeting civilians.” This tough-sounding UN rhetoric, however, has become nothing more than sedatives—attempts to give the illusion that the UN is monitoring and rejecting these crimes. In reality, its stance rarely moves beyond mere statements.
Hamas stated: “The perpetration of massacres, escalation of forced displacement, enforcement of starvation policies, and closure of crossings constitute the foundations of a genocide as defined by international law.” The movement emphasized that “the unjustified international inaction in the face of this genocide and failure to hold the Zionist war criminals accountable represents a blatant collapse of the international system of values and laws.” Hamas called on all global actors to break their silence and move immediately to halt the gruesome massacres and end the humanitarian catastrophe being manufactured by the enemy.
The U.S. Targets Opponents of the Genocide Policy
In its unwavering support of the Zionist enemy, the United States not only shields the entity from legal accountability but also targets voices advocating for the Palestinian right to safety. This was made evident when U.S. authorities harassed Christopher Helali, an elected local council member, upon his return from attending the Third Conference for “Palestine: The Central Cause of the Ummah” held in the Yemeni capital, Sana’a.
Furthermore, the U.S. mission to the United Nations announced that Washington had sent a letter to Secretary-General António Guterres opposing the renewal of Francesca Albanese as Special Rapporteur for the UN, because of her outspoken stance against the genocide in Gaza.
Yemen’s Actions Are Legal and Ethical
In contrast, Yemen has refused to descend into the disgraceful abyss of moral collapse and abandonment of human values and principles. Despite mounting pressure and targeting, Yemen has maintained a principled stance. Its leadership, people, and armed forces are fully committed to their position. The U.S. and its collaborators are well aware—beyond any doubt—that Yemen is in the right, from every angle, including the legal one.
Just days ago, a video circulated showing a British journalist confirming that Yemen’s operations in the Red Sea are legal. She explained that Ansar Allah is acting within the constraints imposed by the Genocide Convention’s Article I, and since the International Court of Justice has ruled that genocide is occurring in Gaza, Yemen is acting in a fully legal, ethical, and honorable manner.
