Massive pro-Gaza demonstrations sweep Bayda, condemning Israeli crimes, US Aggression
Bayda province witnessed widespread public marches on Friday in the province center and its various districts, echoing the national sentiment in condemning the “Zionist enemy’s” aggression in Gaza and challenging the “American aggression.”
The demonstrations were held under the slogan: “Jihad, steadfastness, and heroism… We will not abandon Gaza.”
The large crowds, led by province undersecretaries Abdullah Al Jamali, Ali Al Saqqaf, Ahmed al Saiqal, and Mohammed al Humaiqani, alongside local and executive authority figures, general mobilization officials, scholars, and prominent social figures, waved both Yemeni and Palestinian flags. They chanted slogans denouncing the joint “Zionist-American aggression” against Gaza and Yemen.
The demonstrators reaffirmed their continued mobilization and readiness to engage in the battle for “the promised victory and holy jihad,” aligning with Yemen’s established and principled stance in support of the Palestinian people, who they stated are facing a “war of extermination” by the “Zionist enemy.”
A statement issued by Bayda march participants reiterated the commitment to the million-man marches and the path of “jihad for the sake of Allah,” continuing the “honorable stances” of the Yemeni people in their historical support for Palestine. The statement condemned the renewed “brutal Zionist-American aggression” against Gaza and Yemen, aimed at displacing Palestinians and preventing Yemen from defending them, in response to the call of the revolution leader.
The statement declared the Yemeni people’s unwavering commitment to their cause, vowing not to abandon Gaza, and reiterating their promise of support. Addressing the people of Gaza, they stated, “You are not alone, and you will never be alone. Allah is with you, and we are with you.” They asserted that US aggression aimed at hindering their support for Gaza would fail.
Directly addressing the US and Israel enemy, the statement declared their aggression a failure in both Gaza and Yemen, highlighting their inability to achieve their objectives. This failure, they argued, stems from their falsehood versus the righteousness of the Yemeni cause, stating, “We are loyal to Allah, while you are loyal to Satan.”
The statement also dismissed psychological warfare as ineffective and called for the activation of all capabilities to support Palestine and defend Yemen, including mobilization, training, financial contributions, economic boycotts, and media campaigns. It also urged firm action against anyone collaborating with the “Zionist or American enemy.”
The statement concluded by urging everyone to actively contribute to the cause, relying on and trusting in Allah for victory against the enemy and continued support for Gaza.
