The Zionist enemy continues to destroy residential buildings in Rafah

The violent Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip continues today, Monday, with renewed shelling of various areas, amidst operations to destroy residential buildings in Rafah, south of the Strip, and new evacuation orders in Khan Yunis.

At a time when the Israeli massacres continue in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli enemy army issued an evacuation warning for the areas of Khan Yunis and the neighborhoods of Qizan al-Najjar, Qizan Abu Rashwan, al-Salam, al-Manara, al-Qurain, Ma’an, al-Batn al-Sameen, Jurt al-Lut, al-Fakhari, and the southern neighborhoods of Bani Suhaila.

The enemy army asked residents to leave for well-known shelters in al-Mawasi. Violent Israeli shelling continues in several areas, the day after Baptist Hospital in Gaza City was targeted, putting it out of service.

In efforts to reach an agreement, Hamas delegation headed by Khalil al-Hayya held talks in Cairo with Egyptian intelligence officials as part of efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

The talks, which are part of the new Egyptian proposal supported by Qatar and the United States, focused on post-war arrangements, including civilian administration in the Strip.

Discussions were held on candidates not affiliated with Hamas to assume this position, with the aim of ensuring regional and international acceptance.

Some names that raised reservations from Palestinian and regional parties were excluded, fearing they would complicate the transitional phase.

In the latest statistics, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that 11 martyrs and 111 wounded were admitted to hospitals in the Strip over the past 24 hours.

This indicates that the number of martyrs since the resumption of the war on March 18 has risen to 1,574, and the number of wounded to 4,115. The total death toll from the aggression since October 7, 2023, has risen to 50,944 martyrs and 116,156 wounded.
