Criminal US President Donald Trump has threatened Harvard University, which has been prominent among universities that have witnessed protests in solidarity with Palestine, with losing its tax-exempt status.

Criminal Trump said in a statement on the “Torture Social” platform on Tuesday: “Harvard may have to lose its tax-exempt status and be taxed as a political organization if it continues to spread political, ideological, and terrorist diseases.”

He added that “tax exemption is conditional on operating fully in the public interest.”

The criminal Trump administration has threatened to freeze federal funding to several universities, including Harvard, citing the protests in solidarity with Palestinians on campus and programs for diversity, equality, and inclusion.

It announced that it had opened an investigation into more than $8.7 billion in grants awarded to Harvard University by various organizations “to ensure they are used in accordance with civil rights laws.”

The criminal Trump administration also decided to freeze $2.2 billion in funding and $60 million in contract fees for Harvard University.

The pro-Palestine protests that began at Columbia University spread to more than 50 universities across the country, and police detained more than 3,100 people, most of them students and faculty members.

With full American support, the Zionist enemy has continued its genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in approximately 167,000 Palestinian deaths and injuries, most of them women and children, in addition to more than 11,000 missing persons.
