The Zionist enemy continues to tighten the siege on Jenin for the 96th day

The Israeli enemy army continues its aggression on the city and camp of Jenin for the 96th consecutive day.

Yesterday evening, enemy forces arrested a number of citizens during a raid inside the city.

The raid on Jenin and its camp coincides with a tightened siege amid the suffering of the camp’s displaced people since the start of the aggression.

The media committee in Jenin appealed for the rescue of citizens from the aggression and the escalating displacement resulting from its continuation.

The enemy army recently reinforced its forces inside the city and camp by recruiting several companies and installing military checkpoints and iron gates at the entrances to Jenin camp.

Israeli forces are deployed in several neighborhoods in the city and refugee camp of Jenin, sending additional reinforcements.

They are also conducting raids and incursions in the town of Silat al-Harithiya, northwest of Jenin, the town of Kafr Dan, and the Jabriyat neighborhood overlooking the camp.

The Israeli army is converting a number of civilian homes in the camp into military barracks.

The Israeli aggression has so far resulted in the martyrdom of 40 citizens, the displacement of 21,000, and the complete or partial destruction or burning of 3,250 housing units.

In addition, the enemy intends to demolish 93 residential buildings, comprising approximately 300 housing units.

Since the beginning of the large-scale aggression, the Israeli army has arrested 318 citizens from the city and camp, and dozens have been subjected to field investigations.
