The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced that its flour supplies in the Gaza Strip had run out, with only 250 food parcels remaining in its warehouses two days ago.

In its latest update on the situation in the Gaza Strip, UNRWA warned that the blockade imposed by the Israeli enemy on Gaza for more than 50 days is leading to a rapid depletion of essential humanitarian supplies, including food, fuel, medical aid, and children’s vaccines.

UNRWA noted that since the collapse of the ceasefire, Israeli forces have escalated their aerial, land, and sea bombardment of the Gaza Strip and expanded the scope of their ground operations, killing hundreds of people, destroying civilian infrastructure, and causing widespread displacement.

For his part, UN spokesman Stéphane Dujarric said that children are starving, patients are not receiving treatment, and people are dying, stressing that the time has come to lift the restrictions immediately.

With American support, the enemy army has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 168,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 14,000 missing.
