Iran’s Army Commander Amir Hatami vowed on Monday a strong response to the US aggression that targeted the Iranian nuclear facilities.

“We are fighting today for victory,” Hatami said, stressing that the Iranian Army would defend the country’s independence and territorial integrity “and the Iranian regime with all its might.”

He added, “Every time the Americans have committed crimes, they have received a decisive response.

“We have had many martyrs, but we will fight with strength and courage,” Hatami clarified. Be confident in our strength.”

Ali Akbar Velayati, an advisor to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, said that there was no place for the United States in the Middle East anymore,” adding that it “must expect irreparable consequences.”

Velayati also warned that the bases US forces had used to launch their attacks would be legitimate targets.” This came a day after the US military dropped bunker-buster bombs on three nuclear sites in Iran.
