The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights strongly condemned the heinous crime committed by the mercenaries of the Aggression Coalition, who launched a direct missile strike on a densely populated residential area in Al-Hushama, Taiziyah District, killing five children and injuring others.

In an official statement, the Ministry described the act as a deliberate and horrific crime that shocks humanity's conscience. The children who were martyred are: Mubarak Yasser Ali Ahmed Ghalib Al-Sharabbi (14 years old), Osama Abu Bakr Ahmed Ali (12 years old), Bashir Akram Ahmed Ghalib (12 years old), Anas Jawad Mohammed Saleh (14 years old), and Ahmed Ali Muqbil Abdullah Al-Atmi (12 years old).

The Ministry emphasized that targeting civilians—especially children—in their homes is a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and human rights conventions, particularly the Fourth Geneva Convention. It classified the attack as a war crime and crime against humanity, demanding accountability for all involved under international law.

This massacre is part of a systematic pattern of violations by the Aggression Coalition and its mercenaries, undermining the right to life and protections for civilians, especially children.

The Ministry held the coalition states and mercenaries fully responsible and urged the international community to condemn these repeated attacks on Yemeni civilians.

It also called on human rights organizations to document these crimes, pursue justice, and avoid double standards in international law.

Finally, the Ministry demanded that the United Nations take a clear stance against the targeting of children in Yemen, provide urgent protection for civilians, and conduct an independent investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice.
