The Red Sea has long been a theater for U.S. naval dominance and a launchpad for conspiracies targeting Arab nations, particularly those bordering its shores. However, Washington and Tel Aviv never anticipated that Bab al-Mandeb could transform into a choke point that humbles their ambitions, crushes their pride, and dismantles the myth of their invincibility. Contrary to their expectations, the tide has turned. It is Yemen—the land of faith and wisdom—whose resilient fighters have defied the impossible, redrawn the maritime map, and forced the so-called superpowers to withdraw, bruised and burdened by heavy military costs.

In just a matter of hours, the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out two unprecedentedly precise and efficient naval operations targeting ships directly tied to the Israeli enemy. These strikes were executed in accordance with Yemeni rules of engagement, underscoring the legitimate right to defend the Arab nation, its just causes, and Islamic sanctities. The first target was the "Magic Seas," operated by Allseas Marine, which, according to Reuters, had previously docked at an occupied Palestinian port. The second, the "Eternity C," was struck by Yemeni missiles and unmanned boats. These attacks sent a clear message: Yemen is an unyielding bulwark and a formidable force on the frontlines of confrontation.

Heavy Costs for Ties with the Zionist Entity

On Wednesday, the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted the "Eternity C" as it headed toward the occupied port of Umm ar-Rashrash (Eilat), deploying a drone boat and six cruise and ballistic missiles, resulting in the vessel’s complete sinking. Its crew was rescued.

Yemeni forces revealed that a special naval unit was dispatched to rescue some crew members, provide them with medical care, and relocate them to a safe zone. The attack followed the ship and its parent company’s resumption of dealings with Umm ar-Rashrash, in clear defiance of a ban on such interactions. The ship had also ignored repeated warnings from Yemeni naval forces.

Earlier, on Monday, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced they had struck the "Magic Seas" in the Red Sea using two drone boats, five ballistic and cruise missiles, and three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), causing the ship to sink entirely. According to the military statement, the operation followed multiple warnings which the vessel’s crew refused to heed.

On July 9, 2025, Reuters confirmed the "Magic Seas" had previously docked at an "Israeli port." Maritime website "Maritime News" noted that the ship’s owner operates at least three other vessels that have also docked in occupied Palestinian territories."The Wall Street Journal" reported that MarineTraffic data showed a ship docked in "Ashdod" port during the attack belonged to the same company.

British publication "Lloyd’s List" revealed that both the "Magic Seas" and "Eternity C" belong to companies that regularly operate vessels to "Israeli ports." At the time of the attack, the operator of "Eternity C" had another container ship en route to the occupied port of Haifa.

These back-to-back operations demonstrate that ships violating the maritime embargo will not escape Yemeni fire. Western media and maritime surveillance centers emphasized that the attacks targeted vessels involved with the Zionist entity, especially those visiting occupied ports. Reuters quoted the head of intelligence at British maritime risk firm Vanguard Tech, who warned that as long as the war in Gaza continues, affiliated vessels will face increasing risks in the Red Sea.

Advanced Tactics at the Heart of the Confrontation

Global media and maritime monitoring bodies agree: Yemeni operations now represent a new balance of fear. The global navy’s failure to protect Israeli interests—despite their massive resources—proves that Yemen, from a just position, is establishing new rules of engagement and reshaping maritime security through precise, data-driven strikes.

These operations, coupled with continued tracking of vessels visiting occupied ports, affirm that Yemen is waging a campaign of action—not words. Yemen is offering a lesson to all conspirators and collaborators, affirming its legitimate right to self-defense and to defend its Palestinian brethren. This is a war of resistance, carried out by a steadfast people under wise leadership, unified in their cause and clinging to their historical rights. Yemen is writing a new chapter of heroism and resistance against blockade and occupation, guided by military and spiritual leadership defying global alliances and charting a new path to Arab dignity and independence.

Described as complex and wide-ranging, these naval operations employed advanced tactics involving naval forces, missile units, and UAVs. In the "Magic Seas" strike, two explosive-laden drone boats struck the ship’s left side, igniting fires, damaging cargo, and causing water ingress. Over time, the flooding led to the ship’s full submersion.

The Zionist newspaper "Jerusalem Post" detailed the attack, stating that Yemeni forces contacted "Magic Seas" via emergency maritime channel VHF 16. The crew was instructed to slow down and stop but refused. Consequently, Yemeni forces launched small, fast boats and opened fire, followed by suicide drones.

The paper added that Yemeni forces employed an even more complex plan: waves of small boats, RPG launchers, light weapons fire, and UAVs to pinpoint the ship’s location in a tightly coordinated operation. This marked one of the most dangerous and well-coordinated assaults, highlighting renewed threats to shipping lines. The Yemeni Armed Forces demonstrated their ability to conduct systematic attacks on commercial ships using integrated drone-boat coordination.

This attack sent a clear message to global shipping companies: Yemen retains the capability to strike any vessel violating the embargo. It marked the third known ship sunk by Yemeni forces in the Red Sea.

Yemeni Deterrence: From the Sea to the Heart of the Zionist Entity

For the Israeli entity, direct military confrontation with the Yemeni Armed Forces now entails severe risks. The entity recognizes that Yemen’s military has become "invincible," and previous American and Western military interventions in Yemen failed disastrously to eliminate its capabilities. Israeli analysts caution that a large-scale war in Yemen would severely drain Tel Aviv, which already faces profound internal economic crises and looming budget deficits due to the ongoing war on Gaza.

In a bid to bypass the Yemeni maritime blockade, war criminal Netanyahu told Fox Business on July 9, 2025, of plans to create trade routes connecting Asia to Europe through the Arabian Peninsula and the occupied territories.

Simultaneously, Yemeni Armed Forces launched qualitative missile and UAV operations striking deep inside the Zionist entity. These attacks targeted both military and civilian sites, including the Asqalan power station, Lod Airport (where air traffic was halted), and locations in "Eilat." These strikes support the resistance in Gaza and respond to the atrocities committed by the Zionist regime, which has killed and wounded tens of thousands—mostly women and children.

Precision in Decision and Execution

These ship strikes followed a considerable pause since Yemen’s last maritime action against vessels headed to occupied ports, highlighting a calculated and intelligence-driven approach. They reflect Yemen’s advanced surveillance capabilities, targeting precision, and adherence to international standards. The Yemeni navy sent proper warnings to the ships’ crews, who failed to comply—after which the vessels were targeted and sunk.

Technically, these are the most significant operations to date. They showcase the strength of Yemen’s decision-making, confirming that Yemenis are not mere talkers—they implement their warnings and execute the directives of their military and political leadership with precision and resolve.

Freedom of Navigation for All—Except the Zionist Entity

Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, reaffirmed Yemen’s commitment to freedom of navigation for all, except the Zionist entity and its supporters in the war on Gaza. Speaking to the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), President al-Mashat said: “We have no desire to target anyone not supporting the Zionist entity. We’ve established a humanitarian operations center to coordinate with shipping companies to minimize harm where possible.” He added: “All maritime companies must comply with the instructions and decisions of our Armed Forces. Those who ignore them bear full responsibility.”

He urged all parties to cease dealings with Zionist-linked assets, warning that “our growing and disciplined forces will continue operations to end the aggression and lift the blockade on Gaza, in line with international law.”

The latest Yemeni operations confirm that the U.S. Navy, the Zionist entity, and even Western forces have failed to protect Israeli maritime routes, despite massive resources and military escalation. Even Israeli warplanes recently forced to retreat by Yemen’s advanced air defenses reveal this shifting balance of power. The two most recent naval operations once again underscore Yemen’s ability to disrupt Zionist navigation in the Red Sea through accurate targeting and firm resolve, intensifying pressure on all those complicit in the war on Gaza.
