Yemen’s Ministry of Justice and Human Rights condemned Monday’s Zionist aggression on Hodeidah province, describing it as a terrorist act and a clear violation of international law.

In a statement, the ministry reported that Zionist warplanes launched a series of raids targeting Hodeidah port and surrounding civilian areas. It stressed that this attack reflects the Zionist entity’s criminal nature and falls within a broader U.S.-Zionist project to subjugate and starve the peoples of the region.

The ministry warned of catastrophic humanitarian consequences, as Hodeidah port is Yemen’s main maritime lifeline for food and medicine amid an ongoing siege. It called the assault a new war crime, violating the UN Charter and Geneva Conventions, which prohibit targeting civilian infrastructure.

Holding the UN and international community morally and legally responsible for their silence, the ministry reaffirmed Yemen’s right to defend its sovereignty. It urged free people and rights groups worldwide to condemn the attack, document the crime, and pursue justice through international courts.
