Dozens of Yemeni and Palestinian community members, joined by German activists, protested in Flensburg, Schleswig-Holstein, in a demonstration of solidarity with Gaza.
Waving Palestinian flags, protesters condemned the 22-month-long Israeli genocide in Gaza—carried out in full view of the world. Chants decried the mass killings and demanded immediate international action.
Speakers slammed the global silence and Western governments' complicity in supporting the Zionist regime, calling for urgent and practical steps to stop the systematic extermination of Palestinians.
The protest, organized by the Palestinian Cultural Club and the Yemeni community in Germany, featured speeches denouncing genocide, starvation, and siege. Speakers described a man-made humanitarian catastrophe, with soaring deaths from hunger, malnutrition, and disease.
Mahmoud Al-Sagheer, chairman of the Yemeni community, described Israel’s nearly two-year assault as “unprecedented in brutality.”
“We are here because silence enables injustice. Responsibility doesn't belong to history—it belongs to now,” he said.
