Students across Dhamar organized a mass march Sunday in solidarity with Gaza under the slogan: "With the people of Gaza and Palestine against starvation, criminality, and tyranny."
Chanting against the U.S.-backed genocide in Gaza, participants condemned international silence and Arab-Islamic inaction.
Governor Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti affirmed Yemen’s jihadist duty to support Gaza, stressing that the goal is to end the aggression and liberate Palestine—now a responsibility of the youth.
Deputy Education Minister Hadi Ammar praised students’ commitment, contrasting it with the apathy of youth in other nations. He called for intensified strikes on Israel and urged Islamic youth to follow Yemen’s example.
A statement at the march denounced the Israeli-American campaign of genocide and forced starvation in Gaza, warning against betrayal of the resistance. It urged students across the Muslim world to speak out and act.
The statement also supported continued student activism and participation in commemorating the Prophet’s birthday as a symbol of resistance and solidarity with Gaza.
