The districts of the Capital Secretariat witnessed large popular rallies after Friday prayers today under the slogan: “Readiness and Preparedness… Mobilization Continues.”
Participants declared a high level of readiness to confront the enemies, their proxies, and collaborators, and to thwart what they described as criminal conspiracies targeting Yemen and the Arab and Islamic nation.
Crowds chanted slogans of mobilization, resistance, and solidarity with the Palestinian people, along with chants condemning the continued crimes of the Israeli regime in Gaza and the West Bank.
Residents of the Capital Secretariat renewed their pledge of support to the leader of the revolution, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, affirming their steadfast position in supporting the oppressed and the causes of the nation—foremost among them the Palestinian cause.
A statement issued by the rallies said that the Yemeni people, committed and resilient, continue to witness the Israeli regime’s stalling and withdrawal from its obligations under the ceasefire agreement—an attempt, the statement said, to deepen the suffering of the Palestinian people.
The statement pointed out that as winter intensifies and storms hit the region, the Israeli regime continues to block the entry of shelter materials and maintain the closure of the Rafah crossing in coordination with the Egyptian regime, in violation of what had been agreed upon.
It condemned the ongoing crimes of the Israeli regime in the West Bank and the repeated incursions by settlers into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The statement added that, were it not for the “soft war”—its misinformation and moral corruption—run by global Zionism, many regimes and peoples of the region would not have been subdued to its dictates.
It accused these forces of exploiting the nation’s wealth, turning its lands into military outposts, and stripping its peoples of their moral, human, and Islamic values.
The rallies reaffirmed unwavering support for Gaza, for Hezbollah, and for the free peoples of the Islamic nation.
“We affirm to the Sayyid, may Allah protect him, that we will be his supporters and soldiers—by the will of Allah—in carrying the divine message, establishing justice, aiding the oppressed, and breaking the tyranny of aggressors, seeking thereby closeness to Allah and His Messenger and trusting in His victory,” the statement read.
The statement called on both the government and the people to confront the “soft war” that has harmed the nation more than conventional warfare, leaving it in a state of confusion, division, and subjugation, and weakening the moral conscience of many of its sons and daughters.
It also affirmed that public mobilization will continue in all its forms, calling on the tribes of Yemen to maintain their armed rallies, praising the efforts of tribal leaders, dignitaries, and all free Yemenis.
Finally, the statement urged the women of Yemen—and the Muslim nation at large—to emulate Lady Fatima al-Zahra, daughter of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family).
