The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Saturday evening the execution of their fifth military operation, striking Lod Airport in the Jaffa area and other vital and military targets of the Israeli enemy in southern occupied Palestine using a cluster ballistic missile and multiple drones.
In a statement delivered by military spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the Armed Forces said the operation was carried out in support of resistance fronts and as part of a religious, moral, and humanitarian duty toward allied groups in Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, and Palestine.
The statement added that the operation was conducted jointly with the IRGC, the Iranian army, and Hezbollah in Lebanon, successfully achieving its objectives.
The statement emphasized that the strike comes in response to the Zionist plan to establish a “Greater Israel” under the so-called New Middle East framework.
The Yemeni Armed Forces warned that continued aggression by the Israeli enemy would prompt further escalation by Yemen, and confirmed that military operations within the axis of jihad and resistance will continue until victory is achieved.
This operation marks the fifth announced Yemeni strike on Israeli enemy targets in recent days, following previous ballistic missile, drone, and joint operations. Yemen’s forces continue to coordinate closely with Iran and Hezbollah, signaling a sustained multi-front engagement.
The escalation comes amid heightened regional tensions driven by ongoing US-Israel aggression against Iran and allied groups, with Yemen positioning itself as an active participant in the broader confrontation.
