Four children were seriously injured on Saturday when an explosive remnant from the Saudi-American aggression detonated in Yemen’s Al-Durayhimi district of Hodeidah province.

A local source said the device exploded in Al-Makimaniyah village in Al-Munafira subdistrict, injuring four siblings: Ammar Omar Yahya (10), Yahya Omar Yahya (9), Jumaa Omar Yahya, and Hananadi Omar Yahya, with severe wounds to their limbs and other parts of their bodies.

The injured were taken to hospital for treatment. The incident is part of the continuing dangers posed by unexploded remnants of war, which still threaten civilians—especially children—in residential areas, villages, and farms.
