Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf met with Hamas Leadership Council Chairman Mohammad Darwish, reaffirming Iran's support for the Palestinian resistance and declaring that the "liberation of al-Quds" represents the response to the killing of the late Leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei.

During the meeting, Ghalibaf said diplomacy must serve to consolidate military achievements, stressing that successful diplomacy depends on a country's ability to defend itself.

“Diplomacy seeks to consolidate the achievements of the battlefield, and this important objective is achieved when a country is prepared to defend itself alongside diplomacy,” he said.

Addressing Darwish, the Iranian parliament speaker added, “The revenge for the blood of the martyred Imam is the liberation of al-Quds.”
