A wave of reactions has emerged online following the death of US Senator Lindsey Graham, with Israeli officials and settlers praising his long-standing backing of "Israel", while social media users and figures from around the world condemned his record, accusing him of supporting genocide, policies that fueled aggression across West Asia, and backing the Israeli occupation.

Israeli Police Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said "Israel" had lost “one of its greatest friends,” describing Graham as a figure whose support for "Israel" was driven by conviction. Ben-Gvir wrote that Graham “stood with Israel not because it was easy, but because he believed it was right,” adding that his “unwavering support, courage, and moral clarity earned him the admiration of millions of Israelis.”

Turkish journalist Ragıp Soylu reposted Ben-Gvir’s statement and commented, “A good reason not to mourn for Graham.”

Israeli officials mourned the death of Graham, praising his longstanding support for "Israel".

In separate posts on X, Israeli President Isaac Herzog, War Minister Israel Katz, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, and former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett offered their condolences over Graham's death, describing him as "a true friend of Israel" and "one of its strongest supporters."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that "Israel has lost one of its greatest friends, and I have lost a dear friend."
