The Network of Intellectuals and Artists for the Defense of Humanity Condemns the US Aggression on Yemen

The Network of Intellectuals and Artists for the Defense of Humanity (REDH), based in the Venezuelan capital, condemned the recent attacks launched by US forces on Yemen.

In a statement, the organization said: “Washington appears intent on undermining the fragile ceasefire and rekindling its proxy war against the revolutionary government in Sana’a, which has controlled 70% of the populated areas since 2015.”

It added: “Neither Israeli nor American warships can claim ‘self-defense’ while supporting genocide and the blockade of Gaza.”

The organization called for “an end to the use of force in the Middle East.”

It condemned “the spread of destruction, violence, and death,” calling for “peace and an end to the repeated attempts to destroy humanity. There is no other way: to defend peace!”
