In a recent report, the Israeli newspaper Calcalist revealed the extent of property damage resulting from the recent war with Iran. The report noted that 41,550 compensation claims had been filed so far.
According to the data, the largest proportion of damage was to buildings, with 32,975 claims filed for direct damage to homes and facilities.
A further 4,456 claims were filed for damage to household appliances and other equipment, and 4,119 claims were filed for damage to vehicles.
According to initial estimates, the direct cost of the damage exceeded 5 billion shekels (approximately $1.5 billion), while thousands of claims are still being processed or are in the process of being filed.
Meanwhile, the number of settlers evacuated due to the destruction has reached approximately 18,000.
It should be noted that the relevant authorities are still assessing further damage, with the number of claims expected to increase in the coming weeks.
On June 13, the Zionist enemy, with American support, launched a 12-day aggression against Iran, targeting military and nuclear sites, civilian facilities, and the assassination of military leaders and nuclear scientists. The attack resulted in 606 deaths and 5,332 injuries, according to the Iranian Ministry of Health.
Iran responded by targeting Zionist military and intelligence headquarters with ballistic missiles and drones, many of which penetrated defense systems, causing unprecedented destruction and panic, as well as 29 deaths and 3,345 injuries, according to the Ministry of Health and Hebrew media.
