The Deputy Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem, said on Tuesday that the primary responsibility for the crisis in Gaza lies with Arab and Islamic nations—both their governments and their peoples.

Addressing them directly, he urged:
"Take the positions you are able to take—at any level—but do not stand idly by."

In a statement, he continued:
"End normalization, close the enemy’s embassies, halt trade relations, and unite to support Palestine and Gaza—even with the bare minimum of life’s necessities. When America sees a united stance and a single voice beside the Palestinian people, it will retreat."

He stressed that "what the oppressed people of Gaza are enduring—from American-Israeli aggression, escalating savagery, genocide, starvation, and indiscriminate killing—goes beyond all humanitarian and moral boundaries."

He added:
"Global silence implicates regimes and officials, and renders so-called international law meaningless."

"It is not enough," he said, "for twenty-five countries to simply call for an end to the war on Gaza. Such statements do not absolve them of complicity, nor of the support some powerful nations have given to the aggression since it began."

He continued:
"Statements and condemnations do not exonerate those who issue them. What is needed is the translation of these words into real actions—by imposing sanctions on the Israeli entity, isolating it internationally, prosecuting it, and severing all forms of engagement with it."

Sheikh Qassem warned:
"History will record this disgrace upon the leaders and systems of humanity during this era of hatred-fueled starvation and mass slaughter. The injustice committed by America and Israel will ultimately reach those who remain silent in the face of oppression."

He concluded:
"Know this: the wrongdoers will never succeed. Israel’s unchecked brutality and arrogance will, God willing, lead to its ultimate and catastrophic downfall."
