The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on Sunday condemned the Israeli attack that killed Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) paramedic Omar Mansour Aslim and injured two of his colleagues, after their clearly marked facility in Khan Younis was shelled overnight.

In a statement received by Quds Press, the ICRC expressed its outrage, noting that the victims were carrying out humanitarian duties inside a building that was prominently displaying the Red Crescent emblem.

The ICRC underscored the critical role played by the PRCS in delivering lifesaving aid to Gaza’s devastated communities, describing the incident as part of a broader 21-month pattern in which multiple PRCS teams and other humanitarian workers have been killed or injured.
