The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, affirmed that the ongoing crimes of the Israeli occupation army in Gaza—most recently Saturday evening, when Israeli aircraft targeted a civilian vehicle west of Gaza City—represent a deliberate and criminal violation of the ceasefire agreement signed under U.S. President Trump’s plan.

In a press statement, Hamas stressed that this incident confirms the Israeli enemy’s deliberate intent to undermine and sabotage the ceasefire through continuous violations.

The movement held the Israeli fascist government fully responsible for the repercussions of its crimes against the Palestinian people, including its systematic breaches of the ceasefire agreement, targeting civilians, activists, and leaders, continuing the siege, and obstructing humanitarian relief efforts.

Hamas called on mediators and the countries guaranteeing the agreement to fulfill their responsibilities regarding these blatant violations and to take urgent measures to restrain the Israeli government, which flagrantly ignores its obligations under the ceasefire and seeks to dismantle it.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation—supported by the U.S. and Europe—has carried out a two-year-long campaign of mass atrocities in Gaza, including killings, starvation, destruction, displacement, and arrests, disregarding international appeals and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt these crimes.

This ongoing campaign has claimed the lives of over 241,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, injured more than 171,000, left over 11,000 missing, displaced hundreds of thousands, and caused famine that killed many, primarily children, while widespread destruction erased most of Gaza’s cities and regions.
