The Political Bureau of Ansarullah strongly condemned the “bloody massacre” committed by the Zionist entity against civilians in Lebanon’s Beqaa region, which reportedly resulted in dozens of martyrs and wounded, calling it a flagrant violation of humanitarian values and international conventions.

In a statement issued Sunday, the Bureau said the crime goes beyond the targeting of Lebanese civilians and the violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty, considering it as part of efforts to impose new equations linked to the project of the so-called “Greater Israel” and the “New Middle East.” It affirmed its full solidarity with the Lebanese people in confronting the Zionist aggression backed by American and Western threats.

Ansarullah's statement extended its condolences to the families of the martyrs and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded, stressing Lebanon’s legitimate right to respond decisively and abandon policies of submission. It also reiterated its absolute support for the Islamic resistance in its efforts to defend Lebanon’s sovereignty and protect its people.

In the same context, the statement condemned the Zionist entity’s aggression against the Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp and the targeting of Palestinian resistance factions under false pretexts aimed at advancing forced displacement schemes. It linked these actions to the broader Zionist expansion plan associated with the “Greater Israel” project, which it said had received open support from the US ambassador to the Zionist entity, Mike Huckabee.

Ansarullah said Huckabee’s remarks exceeded diplomatic norms and exposed explicit US backing for Zionist ambitions of expansion at the expense of Palestine and Arab countries, adding that statements of condemnation alone are no longer sufficient.

The statement called on Arab regimes to undertake serious and unified action to confront the growing threat. It concluded with an appeal to Arab and Islamic peoples to assume their responsibilities in the face of what it warned are dangerous challenges posing an existential threat to the entire nation.

The Zionist entity recently carried out a series of airstrikes in Lebanon’s Beqaa region, targeting several towns and residential areas near Baalbek. The attacks reportedly killed and wounded dozens, including civilians, and caused extensive destruction to homes and infrastructure.

Lebanese officials condemned the strikes as a violation of the country’s sovereignty and international law, warning that continued Israeli enemy aggression in the Beqaa Valley risks further escalation and humanitarian suffering.
