Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council, has held the United States and Saudi Arabia responsible for the escalation following the bombing of Sana'a International Airport.
In a post on the "X" platform (formerly Twitter), Mohammed Ali al-Houthi stated:
"We hold America and its Saudi agent responsible for the aggression and blockade, through their escalation of aerial bombardment on civilian objects—specifically 'Sana'a Airport'—following a period of de-escalation."
Al-Houthi characterized this action as a direct violation and transgression of international humanitarian law, as well as a continuation of daily war crimes carried out through the ongoing blockade and starvation of the Yemeni people.
