Ukraine lost up to 505 soldiers in combat with Russia's Vostok (East) Battlegroup over the past 24 hours, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, which also reported additional losses across several sectors of the front.
In a statement released on Monday, the ministry said Ukrainian forces also lost 11 vehicles, a field artillery gun, and a Bastion multiple-launch rocket system combat vehicle during operations involving the Vostok Battlegroup.
The Russian Defense Ministry said its Sever (North) Battlegroup inflicted more than 145 Ukrainian casualties, while the Tsentr (Center) Battlegroup reported over 350.
The Zapad (West) Battlegroup accounted for up to 210 Ukrainian troops, according to the ministry, while the Dnepr Battlegroup reported more than 60 casualties during the reporting period. The ministry also said Russian forces struck fuel, energy, and transport infrastructure supporting the Ukrainian military, in addition to workshops involved in assembling unmanned surface vessels.
