Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree affirmed that the Yemeni Armed Forces have now reached a position in which they are imposing equations of their own, successfully establishing—by the grace of Allah—three key equations. 

The first is “blockade for blockade,” under which a tight blockade has been imposed on the enemy, preventing it from getting even a single vessel through. The second is striking Saudi military buildups wherever they are located. The third is protecting Yemen’s sovereignty and confronting any attempts by the enemy to violate it.

Saree explained that, in implementation of the “blockade for blockade” equation, and since the announcement of the decision to ban maritime navigation for the Saudi enemy on July 20 through today, August 19, the Yemeni Armed Forces have successfully targeted eight Saudi oil tankers—five in the Red Sea and three in the Gulf of Aden and Arabian Sea. 

They have also prevented 48 Saudi oil tankers from passing through and forced them to turn back, including 34 vessels prevented from crossing the Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean, and 14 vessels prevented from crossing the Red Sea.

He noted that, in response to the Saudi aggression against Sana’a Airport and Hodeidah Port, and to reinforce the equation of protecting Yemeni sovereignty against violations of the country’s airspace—particularly over the provinces of Saada and Hajjah—the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out nine military operations targeting Yanbu, Najran, Jizan, Abha, and oil supply facilities in the Eastern Province.

Saree added that, as part of consolidating the equation of targeting Saudi military buildups wherever they are located, the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out 14 military operations targeting Saudi enemy forces massed in Al-Ruwaik, Al-Abr, Al-Wadiah, Marib, and Mokha, as well as vessels and boats transporting equipment and military buildups belonging to the Saudi enemy.

He said the operations produced the following results:

• Hundreds of Saudi enemy personnel were killed or wounded, including Saudi commanders and officers.
• A large number of warehouses and pieces of equipment belonging to Saudi enemy forces were burned and destroyed.
• Two military landing ships transporting Saudi weapons and military buildups in Mokha were sunk and set ablaze.
• More than ten Saudi enemy warboats engaged in acts of piracy, interdiction, and looting in the Red Sea under Saudi directives were burned and sunk.

The Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman warned the Saudi regime of the dangers of embarking on any escalation, stressing that “any comprehensive escalation will be met with comprehensive escalation.” 

He added that the Saudi regime has no option other than to lift the blockade, implement the agreements reached to end the blockade and the aggression, pay salaries, withdraw the occupying forces, and leave the Yemeni people’s resources to the Yemeni people as a whole.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree also urged those among the sons of Yemen who had been misled into joining the enemy to return home and leave the enemy’s military camps, stressing that they are Yemenis and that the Yemeni Armed Forces do not want to target them or see them become victims.
