The Ministry of Public Health and Environment in Sanaa announced on Sunday evening that one child was killed and six other civilians—including a woman and a child—were wounded in an updated toll following a Saudi airstrike on a residential home in the Bab Sha’oub neighborhood of the capital.
In a related context, the National Commission for Human Rights strongly condemned the attack, labeling it a dangerous escalation, a war crime, and a crime against humanity under the Rome Statute and the Fourth Geneva Convention.
In its official statement, the commission held the Saudi regime and the US administration directly responsible for the casualties, urging the United Nations and the Security Council to intervene to halt the escalation.
