Yemeni Armed Forces fighters have successfully repelled a coordinated offensive by Saudi-backed mobilizations that attempted to advance and raid military positions on the Al-Fulaiha and Al-Rudha fronts, south of Marib province—an operation overseen by Saudi Brigadier General Faris Al-Shammari.
Several attacking military vehicles were destroyed and incinerated, while the remaining elements of these forces were either eliminated or driven back.
According to details released today, Sunday, by the War Media, footage broadcasted operations targeting Saudi-backed build-ups and the destruction of multiple vehicles across two main axes on the Marib front: Al-Fulaiha and Al-Rudha.
This comes as part of a series of daily, failed attempts carried out by the tools of the Saudi aggression in an effort to advance or breach certain areas in Marib toward the operational depth of the Yemeni Armed Forces, aiming to secure a phantom victory to be promoted across Saudi media outlets and court the satisfaction of bin Salman.
The footage revealed precise details of clashes fought at varying distances, showcasing the exceptional skill of the Yemeni Armed Forces fighters in fire management and weapon distribution during the engagement.
The operations ranged from artillery fire (120mm mortars and Katyusha rockets) to guided Kornet missiles—reflecting the high proficiency of the defensive plan in managing the battlefield in favor of the fighters. This strategy trapped enemy personnel and vehicles within designated kill zones, where they were picked off like ducks in a shooting gallery.
The footage illustrates how the fighters dismantled this high-capability offensive backed by Saudi airstrikes, which supported ground forces in a tactical advance planned according to modern military doctrines of a so-called "surprise attack."
The enemy deployed its full military hardware and combat structure into the field, only to be met with meticulous defensive planning that dealt crushing blows to the hostile mobilizations.
The defenders steadfastly held their ground, securing victory and superiority with minimal resources and losses, culminating in an advance into forward areas and ridges where the enemy had been entrenched for over eight years.
According to the footage, despite the stark disparity in numbers and weaponry between the hostile forces and the defending fighters, the latter managed to destroy, disable, and seize various types of weapons and military vehicles—including drones, numbering between 11 and 15 across both fronts. Strikingly, as has happened repeatedly, the footage captures Saudi-backed formations fleeing the battlefield, leaving their dead and wounded behind.
The footage also documents direct hits on military vehicles, some of which went up in flames, followed by the fighters advancing into the targeted areas to inspect the damaged machinery and equipment on the ground.
This operation forms part of ongoing field pressure against Saudi-linked mobilization sites and military movements on the Marib front, coinciding with the expansion of operations announced by our armed forces across a number of fronts.
