Dr. Al-Hadri determines the extent of H1N1 spreading, reassures the citizens
The official spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Youssef Al-Hadri, commented on the rumors circulating about the seriousness of the H1N1 flu, stressing that the situation is under control and there is no need for citizens to worry and believe false rumors.
Al-Hadri said, “there is more exaggeration than reality, and it does not provide the truth at all, there are some few cases, but they do not rise to a pandemic, as some are promoting them.
The problem of malaria, dengue and cholera remain more severe than this disease, stressing that information should not be taken from the media, but rather from its sources in the Ministry of Health, whether for this epidemic or other diseases.
He stressed that the Ministry of Health has provided medicines for Tamiflu and recovery is easy and fast as any other flu.
He continued, “we will issue statements and reports that clarify the reality of the epidemiological situation and everyone should take care of the stability of the home front and the rest of the other interests, both within their responsibilities and duties.”
