Vice FM discusses with European ambassadors humanitarian work in Yemen
Vice Foreign Minister Hussein al-Ezzi on Monday reviewed with ambassadors of the European Union (EU), France and Netherlands to Yemen, who are currently visiting Sana’a, the course of humanitarian work and developments in the political process in Yemen.
In the meeting, al-Ezzi stressed the important role of donors in the humanitarian process, under the worsening conditions experienced by the Yemeni people due to the brutal Aggression.
Vice Foreign Minister reviewed Government efforts to neutralize the national economy away from all forms of conflict to avoid causing further damage to citizens’ life.
He reaffirmed the Government’s full support for the efforts and endeavors led by the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths.
During the meeting, the ambassadors emphasized the peace option and the importance of returning to the dialogue table as the only way to get out of the worsening situation in Yemen.
They confirmed their countries’ support for the humanitarian efforts aimed at alleviating the aggravating suffering of the Yemeni people.
