Ministry of Health announces the results of a survey and evaluation of hospitals of Hodeidah

Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakkil announced the results of a survey and evaluation of government hospitals and medical facilities in Hodeidah and is inaugurating the stage of raising the level of services provided.

Dr. Al-Mutawakel said in a press conference held today Saturday in Hodeidah that the Ministry of Health committees evaluated 110 different medical facilities of hospital, clinic, and health center to overcome the repercussions of targeting the aggression alliance of the medical system and its multiple facilities.

He added that Hodeidah governorate is ranked 10th out of 15 governorates in terms of providing services in the public sector for patients, while the private sector ranks first.

The Ministry of Health has issued a final warning to hospitals that do not provide the lowest standards required for their visitors and provide them with appropriate services, and we give them three months for repair and treatment before taking legal action.

For his part, the director of the health office in the governorate said that the Hodeidah governorate has witnessed a qualitative shift in the level of medical services and health care during the past two years and is struggling to overcome the repercussions of the aggression and the embargo on Yemen.
