Oil Facilities’ Director in Hodeidah Warns of the Detention of Oil Ships’ Implications on the Health Sector
The director of the oil facilities in Hodeidah, Abdulkhaleq Abu Ali, warned of the repercussions of the US-Saudi aggression seizing oil derivative ships and preventing them from entering the ports of Hodeidah on the health status. He called on the United Nations to carry out its duty towards this disastrous situation, which creates the aggression forces’ intransigence against the citizens.
Abu Ali stated that the hospitals and the dialysis centers are directly affected by the delay in the arrival of the oil ships, and the whole nation is affected by this delay.
The director of oil facilities pointed out that the aggression forces aim to increase the blockade of the Yemeni People by delaying the arrival of oil derivatives, and that the aggression forces want to starve the Yemeni People and eliminate it as a result of their military failure.
He stated that some oil tankers were still in detention for 60, 80 and 90 days despite the repeated demand of the United Nations, noting that the tankers loaded with oil derivatives obtain permits, but they are detained by the aggression without any legal justification.
He said, “We are surprised by the silence of the United Nations to block the aggression alliance for the arrival of oil ships in Hodeidah.”
“The United Nations should be aware of the impact of delaying the arrival of oil derivatives on our people,” he added.
