Yemeni Political Leaders Affirm Yemen’s Solidarity with Lebanon After Massive Blast

Qouted from al-Masirah website that a number of political leaders affirmed Yemen’s solidarity with Lebanon, expressing their condolences to the families of the victims after two massive explosions in Beirut’s port on Tuesday.

The two blasts killed dozens of people, with the death toll expected to rise, and injured thousands. The blast was felt across the city and damaged several buildings and roads.

“We express our full solidarity with Lebanon as a people and leadership in this tragedy, our condolences to the families of the victims and our wishes for the wounded to a speedy recovery. God willing, Lebanon will surpass this ordeal,” the head of the National Delegation and the spokesperson of Ansarullah Mohammed Abdulsalam said.

For his part, Supreme Political Council member Mohammad Ali Al-Houthi said: “We express our solidarity with the government and people of Lebanon following the violent explosions that hit Beirut on this day. We offer our condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, and we wish for a speedy recovery to all those affected.”

In turn, Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Al-Ezzi expressed solidarity with the brotherly Lebanese people, extending sincere condolences to the families of the victims of the tragic Beirut blast, wishing all capable countries the initiative and contribution to enhancing the efforts of the Lebanese people and its government to overcome the effects of this unfortunate incident.
