Interior Ministry spokesman Brig. Gen. Abdulkhaleq al-Ajri said that shooting on events is a crime defined under all legal, ethical, and humanitarian standards.

More than 80 people were killed in the 2019 shooting, most of them women and children, al-Ajri said in a statement  on Wednesday.

The spokesman noted that security services are on the lookout for anyone who tampers with people's lives by shooting on occasions.

The Brig.Gen. al-Ajri called on scholars, personalities, all tribes of Yemen to take serious action to raise awareness of the dangers of this phenomenon, which claim the lives of innocent people.
