Desecration of Prophet Muhammad Violation of Sanctities and Freedom of Expression Lie
Translated article – Alalam Website
When it comes to religions and the sanctities of this or that religion, there is a clever deception carried out by most governments, organizations, parties and groups that stand behind the targeting of these religions by deflecting behind freedom of expression, this freedom is nothing but a cover to target religion or one of its sanctities.
In 2009 cartoonist and journalist for Charlie Hebdo, Maurice Siné, was forced to resign for his cartoon in which he criticized the marriage of Jean Sarkozy, the son of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, to Judaism, Jessica Darty, the heir to the wealthy family of Dararti, and his conversion to Judaism due to money.
Siné’s criticism was not against the Jewish religion nor was it offensive in any way. However, the mere reference to the Jews was sufficient to accuse him of anti-Semitism (the ever-present accusation), to bring him to trial and to expel him from his work. At the time, the magazine did not defend its employee or flaunted the lie of freedom of expression to justify his work.
Later, the magazine itself published insulting cartoons of the Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him). At that time, Muslims were angry over the world, and the magazine justified its drawing as freedom of expression. A few days ago, the magazine reprinted another insulting sketches of Islam’s Prophet on the eve of the trial of suspects in a deadly attack on the magazine’s Paris offices in 2015.
There is a big difference between the two scenes, the adulation and hypocrisy in front of the wealthy and business owners and Jewish media, and the deliberate targeting of the sanctities of Islam.
This insult to the sanctities of Islam cannot be understood outside the context of targeting Muslims and showing them always in this way for goals that have become known and clearly indicated by the leader of the Islamic revolution in Iran, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, who condemned the French magazine Charlie Hebdo for republishing the offensive cartoons), saying such hostile moves are rooted in the “deeply anti-Islamic policies” of Zionists and arrogant governments.
What Charlie Hebdo, magazines, organizations and similar parties are doing against Islam and against everything that is not subject to the control of the Zionist lobbies, especially in the West, is not an expression of opinion and does not stem from a belief in freedom of expression, but rather a reflection of the absence of faith in the right of the other to exist and the absence of faith in the virtue of accepting the other.
“People demand freedom of speech as a compensation for the freedom of thought which they seldom use,” Soren Kierkegaard said. Charlie Hebdo is not an entity that thinks on the human level, or on the moral and social level, like many others, so it resorted to bragging about freedom of expression, like many Western governments and officials, to justify its violations of the rights of others.
When all hell broke loose on Maurice Siné after his criticism of a Jewish family and not of the Jewish religion and nothing happened to those who criticized Siné, the truth of intellectual, political and human hypocrisy appeared. When all hell broke loose against Muslims when they were angry because of the offensive cartoons of the Messenger and did nothing against those who drew these offensive cartoons, as in the case of Siné, the deliberate targeting process emerged based on the theory of demonizing Muslims and linked to the efforts to publish Islamophobia over the Western world.
There is a golden rule in the science of law that says “a person’s freedom ends where another man’s freedom begins.” When Charlie Hebdo and its representatives from governments, parties and organizations consider that their freedom has no limits, they have completely gone out of the circle of righteousness and entered the circle of criminality as they violate the rights and sanctities of others.
