Dhamar industry: 800 facilities threatened to shutdown due to the lack of oil products

The employees of the Industry and Trade Office and the Land, Survey and Urban Planning Authority branch in Dhamar governorate organized today a protest stand to denounce the continued piracy of the aggression and the detention of oil derivative ships.

At the stand, the governor of the governorate, Mahmoud al-Jabeen, considered the detention of oil derivative ships a crime that added to the series of crimes committed by the aggression against the Yemeni people six years ago.

He pointed to the importance of oil derivatives for the continuation of the activities of the service and vital sectors, calling on the United Nations and international organizations to put pressure on the aggression countries to allow entry of oil derivative ships to avoid an imminent humanitarian disaster.

Meanwhile, the Director of the Industry Office, Ahmed Al-Banna, stated that 200 industrial establishments, about 100 bakeries, 200 mills, 122 transport locomotives, 14 stations, and 370 gas agencies in the governorate are threatened to suspensd due to the continued detention of oil derivative ships.
