The Supreme Political Council confirms Yemen’s bias towards honorable peace ,warns the UN envoy of the mistakes of his predecessors
The Supreme Political Council affirmed that Yemen is with honorable peace, according to the description by the leader of the revolution, Sayyed . Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi in his last speech. It is awaiting positive messages from the United Nations and its new envoy.
In its meeting today, chaired by His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, the Chairman of the Council, the Council stressed the importance of that the new UN envoy should start from where his predecessor left off, avoiding falling into the mistakes of his predecessors, not starting to discuss issues from scratch, as well as not ignoring the siege imposed on the Yemeni people.
He pointed out that there is no personal rejection from any person of any UN envoy, but rather on the absence of the supposed role of the United Nations. He pointed out that any assistance that the envoy might need to facilitate his mission should come from the countries of aggression that obstruct the peace process and double their economic war in light of the blockade on the ports and airports, mainly the port of Hodeidah and Sanaa International Airport.
The meeting reviewed a number of economic reports and related recommendations and sent them to the Economic Committee to take all appropriate measures to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
