The Ministry of Guidance condemns the continued targeting of mosques and places of worship
The Ministry of Guidance and Hajj and Umrah Affairs condemned the bombing of the US-Saudi aggression warplanes on the Al-Ansar mosque in Bayhan district of the Ma’rib governorate.
In a statement, the ministry denounced the continued targeting of mosques and places of worship, the last of which was the Al-Ansar Mosque, which led to its complete destruction, bringing the number of mosques targeted – within a month – to four mosques, two of which were completely destroyed and two others were partially destroyed.
The statement clarified that the number of mosques targeted by the aggression since its inception is more than 1,204, most of which are historical dating back to the dawn of Islam.
The statement pointed out that the targeting of mosques was an attempt by the coalition to obliterate them, after the mouthpieces of Wahhabism and their educational centers were unable to undermine the Yemeni faith identity.
It called on Islamic peoples and religious bodies to assume responsibility and take a stance that criminalizes the Saudi regime’s destruction of Islamic sanctities and heritage.
