Sana’a government blesses the intelligence operation, condemns the American presence in Al-Mahrah

The National Salvation Government condemned the US-British-Saudi presence in Mahra Governorate for what it represents of aggression, occupation and violation of the sovereignty of Yemen.

The Cabinet affirmed on Sunday that the continued direct presence of American, British and Saudi forces in Al-Mahra and the rest of the provinces under occupation does not serve efforts to establish peace in Yemen, nor regional and international security and stability.

The Council reviewed the report of the Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs, Mahmoud Al-Junaid, on the level of preparing the authorities for the government matrix to implement the directives of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi.
The report included the steps that were taken to assimilate the directives by the central government agencies, in addition to the necessary instructions for filling out the matrix, the directives of the Leader of the Revolution that they included, the action steps that were taken to assimilate them, the parties that submitted the matrix and those that did not in total and according to the sector, and the proposals and appendices.

The Council of Ministers praised the efforts of the Executive Office of the National Vision Department in following up on the path of implementing the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, and stressed the rest of the parties that were lagging behind in handing over their implementation steps related to the directives, promptly providing the Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs to include it in the matrix and the annual plan of the government.

The Council approved the request submitted by the Minister of Interior, Major General Abdul Karim Amir al-Din al-Houthi, regarding extending the implementation of Cabinet Resolution No. (9) of 2021 AD regarding reducing the value of traffic violations and renewals for another year, starting from the date of issuance of this decision.

The decision comes to allow citizens more time and appreciation for the living conditions they go through, and on the other hand, to continue entering vehicle data that carry manual documents and transferring them to the automated system to ensure the building of an integrated database of vehicles at the Traffic Police.

The Cabinet also agreed, in light of the memorandum submitted by the Minister of Legal Affairs, Dr. Ismail Al-Mahqari, to return the General Department of Environmental Health to the Ministry of Public Works and Roads, and stressed that the Ministries of Works, Public Health and Population complete the procedural arrangements for implementing the decision.

The Cabinet commended the operation carried out by the Security and Intelligence Service, on Saturday, which led to the discovery of several cells active in counterfeiting and trading in medicines in the capital, Sana’a.

He pointed out the importance of the operation, which took place in coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Prosecution and the Supreme Authority for Medicines, and resulted in the arrest of approximately 27 suspects, the seizure and closure of five laboratories and nine stores including foodstuffs and hardware stores that sell and store medicines in different ways, other than a number of stores and homes that are used to store medicines in a manner that does not conform to specifications.

The Council emphasized the security and intelligence apparatus and various government agencies, continuous coordination to detect any criminal operations or gangs that seek to harm the citizen or affect the national economy and to take deterrent punitive measures against all those involved in such criminal activities.

He noted the vital role of citizens in assisting the concerned government agencies and taking the initiative to report any actions that harm citizens.

The Council reviewed the reports of the Minister of Transport, Abdul Wahhab Al-Durra, the first on the efforts of the Ministry of Transport represented by the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology to restore full readiness of Sana’a Airport, including preparations to receive more commercial flights, provide various necessary services and facilitate travel procedures for travelers to and from the airport.

The Cabinet praised the valiant resistance of the people of Mahra led by Sheikh Ali Salem Al-Huraizi, and its national revolutionary and unitary approach and principles based on respect for the sovereignty of the Republic of Yemen.
